hate that people think its a poor man calabasas. continental 80’s came out way before calabasas
hugo garcia , right. The continental is a literal replica from the 80s and 90s. A true retro. Meanwhile the Calabasas is a pure rip off version of the continental in my opinion
The power phase and the continental both came out in the late 70s and 80s. Power phase came out first, then continental a few months later. Then Kanye threw his name on the power phase and they just recently revived the continental 80

I remember having a Puma sneaker in black color way with red details when I was a kid and it looked like pretty much as this Continental 80. These kind of shoes last a very long time.

Cream or White Continentals is where it's at for me, the colored accents add some umph to it IMO. I usually go black kicks by default, but these are one of the exceptions for me.
Perfect gift for my dad! Born 1969 so he for sure remembers these way back.

I think that I will buy the calabasas because they have the 3 Stripes and I think honestly they are easier to style with because they do not have the red line, nontheless both shoes are a great option.

#heskicks80 need help bro. Im overseas and im ordering the white powerphase. Adidas is infamous with their inconsistent with their sizing. In the country im in right now we only have the continentals to compare to. Im a legit 9.5us. But when i tried on the continentals im a 9us. So it makes me scared to order online the 9.5 powerphase. Do they have the exact same sizing?

Continental 80s got the 3 stripes branding, it's just in different direction, but it's there
its the colour way of France's flag which has 3 stripes of 3 different colours or... each colour (3) was the stripes of France or something.
the 3 stripes are basically indirect, its not shown but represented with the colours of france

I had a pair of Continental 80’s not gonna lie i never wore them that much or liked them that much i got the Calabasas and i must say i really really like them more than the Continental 80’s maybe it’s the colour and the design and the Yeezy branding.

I love the cream color looks super clean! Only thing that keeps me from wearing my calabasis is the fact that the leather in the toe box is thin. I bought a pair for the wifey and she loves them but said she would be scared to bump it as it feels so thin:/ oh well! #heskiks80 would be super appropriated in an 11! Been a sub for a long time! The Powerphase reminds me of a Fila or Reebok. The Continental is similar to a shell toe Adidas in some areas. Also, the Continental is on sale for $65 right now.

I’d rather get the 80s, but both are redundant for Adidas’ umbrella group. The Reebok Classic is pretty much their best lifestyle shoe, and Reebok needs sales.

I've held both in hand, the Powerphase leather is top notch... the Continental 80 is nice, but it's not Powerphase quality.
