Thank you for making this video! I bought a homr and cleaned my gutter after redoing my flower bed right below the gutters and i dropped the soil/leaves that had built up over many years of neglect. So i dropped the rich soil into my flower bed and within a week or so i had several mushrooms glowing in my flower bed. I searched online and it stated that the mushrooms were poisonous with symptoms of diahria, nausea and vomiting so i was scared to touch them. I now feel comfortable with putting on a glove and pulling them up and throwing them away. Thanks again! God Bless
I love BYD Jr, he reminds me of my 17 year old. I think you got him up too early😂😂. I have small white mushrooms in my yard, as soon as I see the top of their head, I pulled them up.

I was concerned at first but after research and your good information, I am happy to hear that I shouldn’t be worried. I have my lawn treated monthly by a company and my Bermuda is looking nice and green with the exception of some weeds that tries to come up every now and then 😩 I love your channel! Mycelium network from which they grow is a good healthy thing in nature. The mushrooms you're seeing, when the cap (top) opens the spores fall from under it and can be carried by the wind or by bugs (or just fall straight down). Those spores will make more mushrooms. Mycelium is really fascinating and worth watching more videos about.
Timely video. We had over a week of over 100 degree temps here in SoCal followed by rain. All of a sudden I had mushrooms everywhere. Good to know it's ok.
@@BYDonBermudaGrassCentral I did. I had to use a gardening spade to get underneath them as pulling on them broken them halfway down. I don't think this will be the last i see of the mushrooms. This lawn has never been dethatched and was mulch mowed for years. I put out some organic fertilizer in June. I'm sure there's lots of decaying matter in there. I get one spot where they occur more regularly and its always a deep green and grows fast. I'm thinking a tree may have been there at some point.
I have seen mushrooms 🍄 growing out of two different types of trees in my backyard they were as big as your head I don’t know what kind of mushrooms 🍄 it was and I have seen some brown mushrooms also.
How do you get rid of the ones that look all black and raggedy? I've been fight fungus in lawn but mostly in my beds and they've been causing my shrubs to brown and die. I don't know what to do. I tried the lawn fungus treatment propoc and copper.
BYD they just popped up this weekend in upstate South Carolina from the rain. Should a fungicide be used after removing the mushrooms? Thanks, love the videos, tell Jr to smile...it could be worse. 😀
BYD, content right on time, I've notice when some of the things happening to your lawn, a day later it's happening to me, this morning cutting grass and saw about 5 Mushrooms in a cluster in one area, good to know they are really not a problem, BYD jr had no Words for the vid🤣, ?? Do you think Organic Fert contribute to them coming up??⛳️

When I first got into lawn care I thought they were a problem. I was so happy when I found out that mushrooms don't necessarily indicate a problem.

The mushrooms that you can eat are when you turn them over and they're pink. Anything else could be dangerous.
These things bother me with my dogs. My vet had three dogs die last year from eating them.
