So, for starters this is a very beautiful house already. My suggestion would be to maintain the wooden floors. I personally would not go for marble floors because I believe wood gives a more premium and warm feel. Marble and tiles (especially white and glossy) give a home an office-like or mall-like feel; it can be tacky (but that's just my opinion, I could be wrong). I would play more with colorful persian rugs and runners to blend nicely with the wooden floors. I would then turn my attention on the living room electric fireplace and replace it with a massive Italian Fireplace Moulding with the crest and everything; this means, I will get rid of the feature wall behind the fireplace as I do not need two feature walls in the living room. As for the kitchen, I will go for a French Kitchen with powder blue cabinets, a farm sink, with a commercial style hood extractor. The idea is to make the house feel warm and homely. Lastly, I will go for green marble for the bathrooms.
As you said,,, you wouldn't personally go for that,,, meaning people have different preferences,,,,, and it's not wooden floors,,, it's tiles with a wood finish,,, meaning it's extremely high maintenance,,, I doubt anyone wants something that high maintenance and they caught do without with kids,,,,, absolutely love the kitchen idea,,, I'd do the same,,, white kitchens look so clinical and stuck,,,
I too would maintain the current floor and not change to marble.
@@monginakebati5035 That's what I thought. It is already an expensive floor. If you walk into a house and see a wooden floor, you already know you are in a good neighbourhood haha
@loreignjoy9919 tiles with a wood finish are extremely easy to maintain contrary to what you said. Easily washed with water as opposed to real solid wood floors that are high maintenance.
@@monginakebati5035 I mean the wood is high maintenance and some people would opt for tiles with a wood finish,,,, that's what mostly available in Kenya
The living room fireplace could be a modern masterpiece. Also, the outdoor dining area with stylish lighting sounds amazing. The pool bar TV wall could be a showstopper with textured materials. Can't wait to see the final touches you're turning this place into a masterpiece! 👏🤌

The land scape for me. Fine urban Y'all are putting alot of pressure on me.
I love this house, I would personally retain the wooden floors because they make the house more warm and classy, I would however put an onyx marble either white or yellow and a new fire place in the living room, at the dinning area I would do white marble on the accent wall, the kitchen I would go with navy blue and white cabinets, the bathrooms I would customize in each room , something a bit different, then definitely love the idea of a fountain if it can serve as fountain and light even better. My two cents ❤ and i am looking forward to see how it will turn out,
At the entrance i hope you guys will consider putting a huge pivot door

This house is a blank canvas a lot can be done. It has much potential and I don't know if the team is going to utilize it, in regard to garden fixtures something like a metallic rustic sculpture will definitely work

That unfinished wall has its purpose I don't think it's nice to walk in the house and immediately have a view of the lounge area but it would be a nice idea if you put an aquarium on it it would be a nice view...let me know if you like my idea

I personally dont mind the stone feature walls in the living/dining room. If a gazebo is going to be added, i would then not add another lounge above the current one but rather put a gym. The current swimming pool lounge and the additional gazebo will suffice for out door entertainment.

The voice over of the design doesn't work, it's a renovation for Gods sake. Show virtual transformations for better engagement with the audience so that we have a glimpse of what the space will look like.
Please do less.. way much less to the house. It needs to maintain that mature look
