Whatever the situation, I cook at home only. But my in-laws and relatives r not supporting me. They want to cope up with this fancy world and seeing me as an alien. I think this is also one of the major problems for this generation. Please parents take care of ur kid's food habits.

Thats the reason I dont buy toys for my kids that often, they need to earn it. I set goals for them , not in studies all the time, but in swimming, dance, music lessons. And tidying their bedroom etc.,

Don't think most parents encourage this extravaganza these days. Probably your friend's family was an exception here. No one wl buy those many clothes for a growing child. The main thing is to teach kids about waiting for things that they need, patience, tolerance and most importantly managing failure n disappointment.
