      yea from like 1991 - 1995 you could actually hear her playing the guitar. then the celebrity skin era came along, and while it was a great era, her guitar was just a prop at that point. anytime after that she wasn’t really playing or she was and her guitar volume was turned down low

      @@maybell7430that’s really where the whole rumor started because she only played guitar at smaller shows during the celebrity skin era so obviously the bigger shows where she wasn’t playing guitar were talked about more, so people just took it and ran with it and turned into her faking guitar her whole career

    • @rottenbabylon

      @@maybell7430no she played it during celebrity skin era, you can clearly see and hear it at the big shows. It was really during america sweetheart era she stopped and then just seemed to completely forget to know how to. She said it was the drugs. By nobody's daughter era it's clearly turned off and the chords she's supposed to be allegedly playing aren't even the right ones.

      Jeez! she already hooked up? But already prego...damn he had the best influence on her. On top of her genius, was a bad ass experience. She already had a knack, but he gave her that boost in performance deffinatly. Its not an insult. She's killer in lyrics but I see her early stage performance was mundane. And as a stripper she should have known better. kurt was the best thing for her, or she could have end up like l7 or babes in toy land etc. Also great classics. As much as I love her I know she would be probably be less then what she is. (The band rather) Only because she's not the best guitarist. Amongst other things Etc... hopefully not! Because hole is one of my Favs. And they are my main influence especially on guitar. I love the grungy style or whatever u want to lable it. Regardless if I'm wrong she rocks and so does her performance! I believe it was always inside too! Obviously it was not all kurt or even if it had anything to do with him. Who knows. But she rocks! I do miss 90s hole. America's sweetheart was descent but nobodies daughter was not my cup of tea. It's all good hope she comes back rocking again. No doubt! At least one more killer album! Wish to meet her one day. Or chill with her, so much to say! She is very powerful and she is badass and I love her lol weird right. Go girl!! Xx

    Kurt was a huge fan of Hole. He was always at her shows. Always playing her music. She pretty much taught him guitar. It's too bad he never joined Hole. They wouldn't let him in the band. So he stole their image and Kim Gordon just to make some money. Kathleen Hanna wrote the hit song "Smells Like Teen Spirit". Tragically, Kurt passed away in 1994. He killed himself with an overdose and then rose from the dead to pull the trigger on a shotgun that Dylan had bought for him. No matter how hard he tried, Dylan could not find Kurt. Even after Courtney told him where to look. The Greenhouse. Call VECA Electric right away cuz we need some Security Lighting in the Greenhouse. Why, what's in there? Nothing but a stool and some potting soil.

    • @PaulWildstar
      @PaulWildstar 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Sincere sarcasm was his trademark. Seriously though, I'm being sarcastically sincere about a thing or three. Maybe butthurt, maybe not. We smoked a lot of pot and thought... "Would a guy who had everything and came from nothing, who had turned into something bigger than expected, give up and quit the game after all of that suffering and hard work and complaining? Everything he did and wrote and screamed and defended and totally felt sick about, was only done just to end it?"

      @@PaulWildstar Hi there! The Nathaniel guy to whom I replied has deleted his comment and I cannot recall what he had written, but I still can make sense, I think, of my reply.
      I agree with you on a few things about Kurt: he was sarcastic and he was so good at it; he was smart and had a sense of self-humour, always a sign of intelligence in my opinion. He did work very hard to get his music out, he was driven by this creative need he had within, and a true, genuine desire to express it.
      However, as you say yourself, he became bigger than he had ever imagined, and all that comes with it. I think ultimately he didn't want what he had. Very few people are naturally equipped to deal with that kind of success and all that it entails. He was too good to play the system.
      It's not in my nature to idolise people, even those who I do consider my "idols", and he definitely was that to me somehow: human beings are flawed, even the beautiful souls like he was.
      Also, addiction changes your perspective of everything. Everything. And an addict is constantly battling with a thousand shades of guilt and a myriad of conflicting, contradictory feelings.
      You have to take that into account.
      See how his facial expressions change through the course of his carrer: somewhat smiling and innocent looking and having fun at taking the piss out of journalists etc...at the beginning, frowning and "closed-up" towards the end (at least in public).
      Ok, I could talk for hours but this comment is quite long already... and I'm not sure I'm making much sense. Not sure I'm succeeding in saying what I mean.
      Having said all this, I appreciated your latest comment though. Just wanted to say.
