Driver's chain of thought, "What the heck? Oh wait, they have a bunch of carts..." as he raises the cart back up "...I doubt they'll miss this broken one."
@Mike3141981 This truck is calm compared to the trucks that collected here a few years ago.. Ottos from 1994 are still around (both in this video are from 94) but new rehrigs break all the time with less violent trucks than the ottos held up with. Rehrigs plastic is too rigid, it doesnt allow it to flex as much so it breaks sooner. Watch the video I uploaded just before this one to see a violent truck :D
@matt74012011 A traffic cone. Not joking either. We hit it with a traffic cone and it broke. And LA Sanitation wrote a report on how Rehrigs are the best carts they have bought. BS! They break from a piece of rubber hitting them! haha then when he grabbed it the rest just broke around the back more LOL
@Mike3141981 well thats Trashmaster684s house so we dont want another Rehrig lol but in any other case, no, they just hopper broken carts and the customers figures its gone and calls a new one in. Carts in La break so regularly that its no shock to residents when they vanish or are in pieces lol
The driver when he picked that bin up must have been like “Dang it. Oh well screw it.” Then he chucked it in the hopper. Then releasing that there was another cart left and he was thinking “I should have picked the last one up first.”
@3amrepmike3 Well at least residents don't have to pay for new carts unlike here in sd. You can't find one place where the ottos are in shit condition or still standing, or a cracked shithrig
@FormerWMDriver pretty much haha he actually asked us if we wanted it. He did that 'death' signal when you swipe your hand across your neck like the old movies where they decapitate people. Sean nodded yes so he put it to rest ;D hes a really cool guy
ksb0909 I am with you on that although I think some other brands are a little bit better Rerigs not as bad as everyone says they are way worse on the market
so if a trash bin is damaged/broken they of course throw it away in the truck. but yes it will be replaced because I think it's required. I apologize if this reply is reply late. by now you would know already
@3amrepmike3 Yeah, I just the other video and that truck is much faster and violent. Honestly, I think Amrep's altogether are very violent and rough on carts. By the way, I finally filmed that Leach Crocodile this morning. I got 2 videos; one from behind and one from the side. Enjoy them Mike, I know a couple of months back you had asked me to film this truck since it's pretty rare.
The world should never have rehrigs. People hate them, that smashed bin is added to la's Top 10 most broken trash cans. Amrep asls should also be taken out because they are the ones that are making the bins, the lid, parts of the lid,the wheels and the bit that goes with them lose durability and break.
Crazy Monkeys I own a Rehrig that was made in 2011, and it's still in good condition today. Amreps are good trucks, I've filmed amreps collecting Rehrigs and they don't break. It's only because LA Octo Amreps are so violent, that they break apart more easily.
The only good bin that lasts now are the toter bins. I know because in Orange where CR&R services, most of the residents there still have their original bins from 2010 when the city switched from Waste Management to CR&R. Just recently I had to get one of them replaced due to one of the Amreps obliterating the lid off my solid waste bin.

@Binboy97 its a shitty cart brand, hence it being broken, and the name of the video
Totally rooted... can't say much more than that.
The driver when he picked that bin up must have been like “Dang it. Oh well screw it.” Then he chucked it in the hopper. Then releasing that there was another cart left and he was thinking “I should have picked the last one up first.”

LOL nice video. A lot of Rehrig hate from everyone. I actually think they are the best.
ksb0909 I am with you on that although I think some other brands are a little bit better Rerigs not as bad as everyone says they are way worse on the market
????? I'm confused. Weakest Link? What?
AWESOME!!!!!
@3amrepmike3
I can see why they break so easily since this truck is so violent.
Wow that's la's policy if the cart is in bad shape just take it? Wow. Great peach roto!!! :)
Awesome video Mike, cool seeing that cart meet it's doom. Will they replace that cart for the customer?

Trash Man Daniel oh really.
Rehrigs don't last that many years.

TruckMan 64 rehrigs are weak, I kicked a rehrig and it cracked.
Trash Man Daniel Lmao fr
