coffee restricted me in so many ways. I stopped caffeine a week ago and i feel 10 times better already. First 2 days i had bad head aches and was craving chocolate but now i wake up fresh and full of energy.
Thank you, I only have one cup a day but if I forget that coffee I get horrible headaches and Tylenol doesn't help. I've heard almonds might help with headaches.

Another reason you didn't mention is dehydration. I was drinking 2 quads a day last week that's 8 shots of espresso. I quit cold turkey and have been bed ridden for the past 4 days. Today I'm feeling much better and finally have energy again. The withdrawal is real just like other drugs. Anyways I didn't realize how dehydrated I was. Great video, very helpful and informative. I quit caffeine first by replacing some of my regular coffee beans with decaf, sort of half and half mix. did that for a week, then moved to full decaf. Now I drink a delicious mug of chicken bone broth with tumeric, ginger and lemongrass daily. On 23 December I am no longer addicted to or consume caffeine. Also, I lost 6lbs during this time, so yes it absolutely impacts hormones!
I quit coffee and my vertigo went away, so I tried to drink a little bit of decaf and it started up again so I had to quit the decaf also. It beats up your adrenaline, the adrenal glands come to the point you're completely exhausted, it does not give you energy after a while ,it wipes it out
I've been having a love and hate relationship with coffee ... But I notice some important things...with coffee is great at the beginning, then while my addiction becomes stronger I get anxious and ALWAYS gain weight... I crave carbs as crazy and my energy levels go down... Then I quit coffee , during the next months my body regulates itself, I lose weight, sleep better.... And then I say....why not, let's have one coffee, and everything starts again ...
@Gordon Vos keep on !! .. I also had headaches and some kind of mild flu, it will take some days... I'm also trying hard to regulate my sleep habits ... I know some people who have no big deal with coffee, but I am very sensitive...

my 5th day without coffee. Its wonderful!! I never ever gonna go back to that place! I'm calm, peaceful, not shitting, peeing half what I used to, not judging , thinking all the time. Oh heaven.
It’s been over a year since I quit coffee. Prior, I’d wake up groggy. Not wanting to get out bed. Now I wake up wide awake. This morning I woke up at 7am. Did my laundry, showered, made breakfast, prepped food for dinner and cleaned the house. All before noon. Quit coffee, you will not regret it. Another plus, I am mentally much more at ease. And do not crave sweets as much as I did when I consumed coffee. I still occasionally will get the craving for coffee. But I will just eat a peanut butter sandwich with a glass of milk. And that kills the craving for coffee.
Coffee has been giving me bad stomach aches lately, I need to stop drinking it. It's going to be hard because I love the taste and the buzz. But my stomach just can't take it anymore!
Needed this video. Going to quit coffee for good due to the hormonal imbalance it created in me. I am forever breaking out with acne. It finally clicked that coffee might be the cause. Thanks for all the educational info that you provide, truly truly helpful 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I quit coffee a week ago and have already lost weight. My stomach is going down and I don't crave sweets or food. I feel better. Still tired but no headaches associated with loss of caffeine. No coffee breath or brown stains on my teeth.
I used to take caffeine pills before going to the gym. I ended up so hooked on caffeine I was drinking minimum 4 cups a day. Made me anxious and stressed out easily. I was developing a rash on my upper body and it confused me thinking I was allergic to other foods. I finally figured out the caffeine was the culprit. Still love the taste... I drink decaf.
You addressing the mental difficulty of giving up coffee is a KEY POINT! Gave up coffee I think 2 times now, for at least 1 week + each time and I was miserable mentally and so tired physically despite me trying to not have ANY caffeine, chocolate included. The problem is I actually ENJOY THE TASTE of coffee (different flavours in the coffee). Hate the idea of replacing coffee (coffee substitutes). I like tea, but....my bones are probably suffering (teeth dimerineralization, probably bc of overactive CNS) I'll probably give up coffee after my current coffee is used up, and go out for a pour-over coffee once a week or so. Coffee is a luxury and in the past, my ansestors MOST LIKELY did not have readible access to it, trying to talk my brain down and not freak out about not being able to enjoy coffee.
Had my last sip of coffee now. Heart breaking but I surely wanna be a better person at peace and hence I have decided to challenge myself to quit coffee. Thank you Beerbiceps for inspiring 😍
I am doing research today to find myself the knowledge and motivation necessary to quit caffeine. I don't drink coffee but I have been dependent on Energy-style water enhancers for years and I realized that I drink way too much, and in light of finally feeling the need to step up my game with my physical and mental health, I think it's time to make that decision. For so long, I didn't have the determination and willpower, and the bigger problem was that I genuinely believed that caffeine was helping me. Thank you for this. I will be sure to watch your other caffeine video. =]

The way I quit was by cutting back and back. I didn't go cold turkey, I just kept reducing my intake. I noticed semi withdrals during the reducing intake stage but by the time I was ready to have no coffee, I felt great. I feel better than ever without coffee and my physical performance has improved, because I have REAL energy now, not that artificial caffeine crap and i'm well rested due to having perfect sleep. I will admit that it was a tough process, mainly because I live a very physical life, but it's worth it in the long run an you end up gaining more energy and the energy you gain is your own and real.
Three weeks caffeine free after a 10 year addiction. I have a panic disorder and the biggest thing for me is that I can control it caffeine free. While drinking coffee the attacks would be so bad I couldn’t even talk. Now if I have them I notice my heart rate increasing, but I can still act normal and talk. HUGE difference. Especially at my job managing people when confrontation would be a big trigger.
So much knowledge, caffeine is the modern day nicotine of the early 19th century. I tell everyone to try a caffeine free life for just a little bit, always with a gradual decrease because cold turkey is a no go for many people. Even then, if they are heavy drinkers it may take months to get back to normal baseline...but if they can make it it absolutely worth it.
Thanks for the video. I also note in the scientific literature that many studies seem to show that caffeine consumption can act as a protective factor against Parkinson's, Colon Cancer, and Alzheimer's Disease. Always good to question everything and make the right decision for yourself, your content included.
i have stopped drinking coffee from last fewer days.. as i was a daily coffee drinker i was feeling depressed and anxiety and body starder tremors.. after stopping coffe i am feeling better and better mind working.. i have researched this before and now this video.. thank you brother
Hoping this will motivate me. I so look forward to the taste of coffee. I know I feel better without it, but I love the taste! I have tried so many different herbal drinks and they just don't satisfy ☹️

When I stop drinking coffe the bags under my eyes are disappearing and my skin looks a lot better. But my motivation and will to live! Oh man... I feel like just laying in my bed and crying all day. Started taking Tyrosine and b vitamins and it seems to help. But I realy miss that kick in the ass and the feeling that no matter what I can handle it (with my cup of coffe).
Thanks for this useful video! I'm way over coffee/ Caffeine. I find going cold Turkey on coffee, substituted with black tea , then green tea, substituted for blacktea, than hot water substituted for Grreen tea. I find even though black tea is an external substance, my emotional balance & well being way way better ( relying on tea) compared to coffee. For my constitution, coffee is almost evil, too many drawbacks to mention! Today I'm a tea drinker. Next step , a hot water drinker
I like how this begins. I think it goes so overlooked that even one cup of coffee, although not an out of control situation, is still a dependency. Try to take that one cup of coffee away. Speaking from experience. 🙋🏼♀️🙈
3rd day of quitting tea n coffee...hope I cn continue further...🤞I cn totally relate to that stress thing...it surely increases stress n anxiety..n I want mental peace
Great info.. thank you.. hmm.. my blood pressure rises with the intake of coffee. But my temper also gets bad with coffee which again reminds me of blood pressure n temper relationship. High blood pressure high chances of bad temper n anger breakouts. Another side effect of coffee.. but the thing is that i love coffee very much. Earlier i didnt give it much place in my kitchen. Only used to take coffee in weddings occassionally. But now i have all sorts of them in my home. From rage to bru beaten coffee. All forms of coffee.. i just pray i am strong enough to quit coffee once n for all..
Yes my brother. 2 reasons primarily - Very unlikely to develop a dependence on beer if you limit it to twice or thrice a month. Secondly beer isn't available in your kitchen pantry. Peace 😘
I am 7 days of no caffeine. I swear bro after a couple of days of headaches I feel incredible. I feel like my hair is fuller, fingernails are growing quicker, feel peaceful and happy for no reason. And the sleep! I’m addicted to sleep! It’s so deep and blissful. Caffeine is a complete scam.
Thank you so much Ranveer I have only 1 cup of coffee every morning but now I will switch to tea and then from tea to green tea .. you are doing a great job ❤
Neither quitted coffee nor tea...m not addicted to these two...i successfully related this to my other habits which were to be mentally won...trying to do tht ....awesomeness in your job...
REM sleep isn't the deepest sleep. It is the dreaming phase and it's true...NREM is divided into light sleep and deep sleep. Caffeine affects deep sleep. Which part of the sleep is more critical for cell rejuvenation and it decreases when we age..but caffeine decreases it even without truly ageing.
Thanks for this great video. I, too, quit alcohol. Being dependent seriously pisses me off. I just dumped the rest of my ground beans into the composter.
I quit smoking 10 years ago and took up coffee, it seems innocent but it's not. My nerves are wrecked and chronic insomnia, horrible. I'm lying in bed planning my exit from caffeine and how to manage my life without it.
3 weeks no coffee,2 years of caffeine addiction, started from 1 cup to eventually 4 cups a day, pre-workout were a instant hit,Ur sleep is messed all around,it's 2am Ur pumped up well the pre-workout effect,Ur body is tired of workout, but Ur mind just dosent sleep,it's 7.30am and ur day is fucked, but u have a cup of coffee and it goes fine, daam this 3 weeks were like heaven, after ur workout Ur tired as fuck, the sleep u get is priceless,I missed a lot though,tx BEERBICEPS for your video, some day when we meet will have a cup of coffee lol,jj
I found tapering off my coffee to be too difficult because after one cup I just wanted a 2nd cup really badly. But switching to black tea and then quitting black tea after a couple weeks worked great. Cold turkey left me with a horrendous hangover headache after about 24 hours. I was literally drinking coffee at 3 am to get back to sleep due to the pain. I think my sleep is a little better since but I can't say it's dramatic. You need to exercise other good habits like having a routine before bed and going to bed on time and not staying up watching tv/playing video games. That said, I feel better even if I'm dumb and stay up too late. Getting through the day with less sleep is easier. The whole being dependent on an external substance is a big part of that I think. If you are dependent on coffee and or energy drinks, and you know you didn't sleep well, you're constantly fighting with yourself to drink more and more cups throughout the day. That internal battle is just gone now which really helps.
Quit cold turkey caffeine in 3 days already my sleep is so much better. First time in years I woke up in the morning instead of fighting to sleep early hours then over sleeping into the afternoons. I feel free 🆓
I have been a frequent coffee user from 6 years but it's creating problem for me now as my dosage have increased from one cup to 4/5 cups a day .. Gonna try to quit coffee from tomorrow. Thanks for motivating me brother :)
Thank you. Good explanation. I have liked and subscribed your channel. Keep it up. I will choose first option of quitting coffee, that quit direct at once, because I have that intense desire of quitting coffee. Once again thank you ❤️🙏.
I used to abuse coffee so much for years, I drained my poor adrenals and was constantly tired. After I had omicron, every time I would drink a cup of coffee my heart would go crazy. It was very uncomfortable. So I had to fully stop. I was worried how will I go to toilet because coffee always helped, but flax seeds, a walk and an oatmeal tea were an excellent swap. I drink Russian coffee now (it's cicoria root plus I think roasted oatmeal or some grain like that) and it tastes great. First thing I noticed is I could fall asleep at 22 pm or 23pm no problem, and I slept much longer without waking up. I actually felt more clearheaded and rested than ever before. Coffee never removed tiredness for me, just made me unable to fall asleep.

I also note in the scientific literature that many studies seem to show that caffeine consumption can act as a protective factor against Parkinson's, Colon Cancer, and Alzheimer's Disease. Always good to question everything and make the right decision for yourself, your content included.
most studies are set up by coca cola etc ofcourse they gonna tell you all the good thing about it hhahaha
yeah, i bet those studues were paid for by the coffee industry...
can't live without one cup coffee... but yes I want to quit...thanks for the video... u rock....I follow al ur videos
i have stopped drinking coffee from last fewer days.. as i was a daily coffee drinker i was feeling depressed and anxiety and body starder tremors.. after stopping coffe i am feeling better and better mind working.. i have researched this before and now this video.. thank you brother
anand sharma Same here bro.. I felt depressed and anxious only for first 2 days then I got better sleep less sweating and feeling satisfied..
Hoping this will motivate me.
I so look forward to the taste of coffee. I know I feel better without it, but I love the taste!
I have tried so many different herbal drinks and they just don't satisfy ☹️
Ohhh.... its so encouraging the way u hav suggested. Yes, i terribly wanted to come out this terrific habit where i lost my sleeping pattern n my heamoglobin is not at all gng up watever healthy i eat...!! I hav decided to come off this Coffee habit. Tq Bro for ur charming speech!
When I stop drinking coffe the bags under my eyes are disappearing and my skin looks a lot better. But my motivation and will to live! Oh man... I feel like just laying in my bed and crying all day. Started taking Tyrosine and b vitamins and it seems to help. But I realy miss that kick in the ass and the feeling that no matter what I can handle it (with my cup of coffe).
try shisandra :) really helps
Thanks for this useful video! I'm way over coffee/ Caffeine. I find going cold Turkey on coffee, substituted with black tea , then green tea, substituted for blacktea, than hot water substituted for Grreen tea. I find even though black tea is an external substance, my emotional balance & well being way way better ( relying on tea) compared to coffee. For my constitution, coffee is almost evil, too many drawbacks to mention! Today I'm a tea drinker. Next step , a hot water drinker
Makes sense. Tea has L-Thianine, which has a calming effect and therefore no jitters.
thanks, you probably don't know how much I needed to hear this
I mean, I´m watching this at 2am and I can´t sleep because I drank a cup of coffee at 5pm today. So I believe you.
Same here to me
I like how this begins. I think it goes so overlooked that even one cup of coffee, although not an out of control situation, is still a dependency. Try to take that one cup of coffee away. Speaking from experience. 🙋🏼♀️🙈
totally. "just one wont hurt" is a big fat lie. you are right! just try stopping it! hahaha!!! not that simple!.
All forms of coffee.. i just pray i am strong enough to quit coffee once n for all..
eye opening video, thank you
well, not drinking coffee indeed affected my sleep.. i slept whole day and the night.. thank you !!
😂😂😂
i gotta quit it now even a half cup makes me sick. ive been drinking it for 11 years. wish me luck
such truths need to be told loud and clear...well done👍👍
I Quit coffees but have beer and drink reasonably is he preaches... great.
Yes my brother. 2 reasons primarily - Very unlikely to develop a dependence on beer if you limit it to twice or thrice a month.
Secondly beer isn't available in your kitchen pantry.
Peace 😘
beer is awesome nothing wrong with that once in a while
Man I love hearing this guy speak for real! Excellent video!👌🏼👌🏼
I quit caffeine also. Too many good reasons to cut it out of my diet.good advice.
hey can you can do a similar video for packaged fruit drinks too, like real, Tropicana. very helpful videos 😊
This video holds so much wisdom thank you for this
PLEASE 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 TALK ABOUT HOW TO AVOID AFTERNOON SLUMP.
HOW TO AVOID FEELING SLEEPY & LETHARGIC IN THE AFTERNOON.
You are certainly a great motivater... God bless you brother. 🙏
I always wondered why my skin is dry so I started quitting coffee almost 2 weeks ago and today I'm craving some coffee that's why I watched this.
It makes me so glad that everyone on youtube comments is a doctor. Glad to be a human.
a doctor doesnt know everything bro .... lol
Thank you so much Ranveer I have only 1 cup of coffee every morning but now I will switch to tea and then from tea to green tea .. you are doing a great job ❤
This was actually an amazing video, thanks! I just started my 2 weeks coffee free
@@noracoyle4988 hows it going
My life. But more like a 15 year addiction.
I really like this dude! Watched several of his vids now - very sincere, good content :)
good video. You made me quit coffee last year and now quitting tea
Well done God bless you.
I’ve been off coffee for two days and I feel like crap.
Did you keep it off?
It’s better to taper off slowly.
This should be the top video
I LOVE YOUR ACCENT God what a welcome break
I have been a frequent coffee user from 6 years but it's creating problem for me now as my dosage have increased from one cup to 4/5 cups a day .. Gonna try to quit coffee from tomorrow. Thanks for motivating me brother :)
Have you quited coffee ?
@@DibyanshuRanjanMishra haha , no man. But I got other addictions now to think about rather than coffee 😂
One to two cup of coffee for a day totally fine for me. I don't put sugar though..
This is very well presented and informative video! Thank you for the information.
Absolutely agree! Good video! Thanks!
