You own a wonderful and beautiful machine! I bought a '58 Plymouth in California and brought it home to Catalonia where I'm restoring it, I guess you're in USA, imagine how bad it is restoring an american car this old here in Europe, if you have delays and frustrations, here it is terrible as everything has to come from USA and it takes a long time, things get home broken, they make me pay very expensive takes at customs, etc... After all anyway I guess owning this kind of cars has good and bad things, but that's how it is, we have to be patient and work with illusion, it might be difficult but after progress the value of being able to enjoy the car has no price! You seem to have your '59 in pretty good shape, I can't say the same about mine by now... Keep working with it, making progress and never giving up, you own a dreamcar, I wish one day I'll have one in my garage too!!
My Moms cousin had a black 60 Cad 6 window sedan deville, and I loved the blinking light that let you know the blinkers were on, was out on the fender!
