Not only does the music sound like Megaman, but that boss sprite wouldn't be out of place in a Megaman game either! This is my favorite Dedede theme of all time and you definitely did it 8-bit justice.
Well... I myself would say that this barely sounds energetic enough and powerfull but that is a great job espacially as making this as powerfull as the original is extremely hard as the original had me listen to it so often that it is place 2 on my most listened songs... place 1 is place 1 because I let it run for over an hour or something on itself accidently But I really like this version and I think you even made the last part perfect justice but definetly not the one where the main theme plays and then MaskeDDD theme in an extremely epic way... can't imagine that working 8-bit anyways as that is some crazy stuff And hey... I forgot making a Playlist with Battle Royale music And this is very convenient as I already listened Dededestoyer Z to death (I got bored by it pretty quickly) and this 'new' ""version"" will make it more changing when I listen to them And nice sprite... althought I would question the propotions a bit Ahhh... listening to it a bit louder makes it a lot better... maybe gonna give another closer review
I really appreciate you doing such a detailed review. I've since somewhat revoked my opinion on this being some of my best work, and I think it just sounds ok. I didn't do that good of a job on some areas, so it's nice to see someone addressing that rather than just calling it flawless haha. I've since gotten very bored of the Dededestroyer Z theme as well, and I've come to realize that it's perhaps TOO energetic.
