That thing is a workout to drive. Heel and toe through three gears coming off the straight and you had better get it done before the corner because it takes two hands to keep that thing pointed in the right direction!
Those laps at Mugello are easily the most competitive and skilled laps I’ve seen of someone in the modern era wheeling a 512. We need more laps (preferably whole races) with this driver/car combo👌🔥
I like this more than the more modern Ferrari V12s (and frankly, most modern V12s in general). Far more deep-chested, with more layers to the sound than just some flat screaming. Way more interesting to listen to.
Dale ahors le dicimos a la Unión europea que quite las normas medioambiente y quien compre un ferrari 2024 con un motor de los 70 vas y se lo pagas vos el mantenimiento!! Nunca voy a entender esta clase absurdas de comparación.
Those who haven’t seen it should watch the Steve McQueen movie “Le Mans”. It’s worth watching just for the in car footage and sounds alone. Plenty of Porsche vs Ferrari action.
Amazing footage and sound! Thanks for that lengthy onboard too. Insane how fast this machine was for its time. Dont know if them Porsches, Lolas or Gt40 were pushing but they got cut through like nothing. And those machines are fast too. Noted some oversteer but this thing seemed very planted and not overworking the steering to get it in direction.
They filmed two cars, the red one owned and raced by David Hart, the yellow Escuderia Montjuich car owned by the Halusa family (who also owns the famous Breadvan Ferrari).
It looks like a twitchy handful at the limit and a bit reluctant to turn in, and I was thinking it wasn’t that quick until it passed everything on the track.
These cars didn't employ a head gasket just the contact between head and block to contain combustion gasses. They were dry-decked and piped oil and water between head and block but the lack of gasket was a design fault. However they sound epic for as long as they continue to run ....... not a sucessful or reliable car in period.
No traction control, no paddle shifters, no electronic bs…. THIS is what the racing gods intended ! Bellissimo !
My observations exactly.
I AGREE WITH YOU SIR

What a beast that brutal sound Scuderia Ferrari
Viel schöner als F1 ,Sound und grössere Anforderung an den Fahrer mit Handschaltung. Lenken mit einer Hand. 😊
Those were race cars !
Thanks for the ear-gasm! That sound is absolutely raw, organic, and visceral! ❤️ 🔥 Love the 512M!

I love, mes amis, how this buggy has the ability to change colours, from Red to Yellow...and back.

@@jcgabriel1569 Oui, merci ! 💋
Perfection!!
Easily that should be the F1 specification for 2026. Forget about turbos and batteries.
It looks like a twitchy handful at the limit and a bit reluctant to turn in, and I was thinking it wasn’t that quick until it passed everything on the track.
Same, its deceptively quick, massive grip too.
So Great!
good work
What a car!👍👍👍
This car sounds as amazing as 917K and 330P4.
Sounds a bit like the McLaren F1 GTR, and a bit of Lamborghini Diablo and Countach.
They sound a little bit like this car.
Nothing compares to a Ferrari V12 from that period. Looks great to.❤❤❤
Love it
Sounds like it wants to *GO!*
A bit confusing interspersing Spa and Magello like that!

Can you record the Aurelio car pls I'm your big fan😢
❤❤❤❤❤
Is he not heel-toeing at all? Sounds like he’s just dropping gears without any throttle blipping
