I am an Officer in Texas, and I literally had to pause this podcast during my shift and explain to a driver that he needed to get Texas plates and stop driving around with Mississippi plates that expired in 2021, and then talked him through the steps of how to get this taken care of. The only good thing about being a veteran as I also am, is it's good training to be mentally fucked by how hard the railroad can screw you. It's an easy job but tons of rules and no life. Trust me when they say BNSF (Burlington Northern Santa Fe) actually stands for Better Not Start a Family it's true. Sav will leave you.

The Army tracked down an old TDY claim that wasn't done years after I retired and was like we need this money for this plane ticket. Part of retiring from the Army is clearing the finance department so everything should have been settled, nope. The travel department got audited and they find this TDY travel missing information on the plane ticket and was like you owe us. I had to contact the Delta and hoped they had records, which amazingly enough they did( the records were like over 5 years or so.). In the end I had to resubmit the travel claim after being out of the Army for years so I didn't have to pay them anything. I was like wtf...

I was like 98% done and I was trying to get around some zombies or something and I jumped over a hill that I guess I wasn't supposed to and it ruined it.
I've used delta monthly for over 10 years and only ever had 1 issue, they broke a piece of equipment that was worth over $20k and then the most they could compensate me was $8k
