Yeah... Much as I love McDowell (and it's not his fault), the original heavily-abridged audiobook is such a letdown. Especially when Jerry Ordway's comic and Craig Shaw Gardner's novelization were so good. They gave details and background descriptions that added to the story instead of taking important aspects away from it.

Another excellent adaptation. You guys consistently release amazing audio dramas. I love the book and movie adaptations, unproduced script reworkings and original adventures alike. There is so much love for Batman and the world of comics books and true talent here. I'm reminded of all those awesome 80's and 90's Batman audio books from my childhood, but your dramas are great in there own right too. Thanks guys. 🦇🙂

Great job on this one, Ian! Saved this listen for Batman Day (along with The Dark Knight variation). Definitely noticed your variations on the action sequences so Batman doesn't really kill in this (and Batman seems more like he's stopping Joker since he doesn't literally say "I'm gonna kill you" haha).
