    Very nice review and interesting to see. Yes, not your normal kind of content but a interesting piece of vacuum history to say the least.

    Interesting. Maybe the fact that it is bagless was a selling point I guess. I’m sure some collector would love it. I’m not into dirt devils old or otherwise.

    I used one in my college dorm room back in 2000. It worked okay but was nothing to write home about. I think it only lasted one school year.

    You should do a video on the beltless Kenmore Progressive machines if you haven't already, the bagged models are superb, perhaps include the Progressive and Whispertone machines that have the belt drive system, they were all made by Panasonic so it's a given they're high quality and reliable though I'd like to see from a technician's point of view how they hold up

    I picked one up at a flea market for $8. I was amazed that it had survived as they weren’t meant to be taken care of and when they broke you just tossed it.

    So Dirt Devil was a Kmart brand...That explains why we probably had 7 or 8 individuals of those damn hand vacs they made back in the 90's and early 00's ... Grandpa probably bought them in bulk on discount. I think we still have a couple of those horrible things kicking around somewhere. They were always so loud and then I think some of the later ones even had a hose that would attach to the front and send dirt directly into the impeller. No I'm not kidding I swear that's how it worked. I always dreaded using them because they were just so unbelievably loud...

    Always wanted to find one of these oddities. Cool little machines and it would be cool to compare it to my eureka the boss superlite.

    i have one of those from 1997, currently on the search for a brushroll for it . either if i can find a parts machine with a good roller or find something that will fit. one of the ends are chewed up and it is quite noisy as a result

    There’s a primitive cordless vacuum from the early 2000s that kinda looked like this machine and I’ve never been able to find it again. I think it might have been a Bissell but I’m not 100% sure. Does anyone know what it was called?

    Can you do a tier list on all the dirt devil‘s ever made

    Some of dirt devils older vacuums were decent for the price like the F1 breeze and the little 7 amp dynamites

    • @PerformanceReviews
      @PerformanceReviews  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, they were all disposable and subpar for the time.

    • @vacuuminfo3526
      @vacuuminfo3526 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PerformanceReviews True, but for the price they were good especially the dynamites being only 25 dollars

    Interesting machine...seems like it was marketed to students/young people without a lot of money who need a cheap vacuum for a small dorm or apartment. Probably works fine for that use case, definitely not a great machine though.
