Guruji at one side we have our God like sages saying Never hurt anyone even in your thoughts. And on the other side we have Lord Krishna , telling Arjuna to fight. Since birth I am bounded by morals or my integrity . And because of this unbreakable connection, I’ve lost the ability to fight like Arjuna. Not saying in a negative way but I had times where I felt I had to step up for myself or for other but I couldn’t take a stand.
@@Brisket63 Our sages taught non-violence, truth, and other morals to elevate us from animalistic tendencies to human values. These teachings are often presented in an absolute sense. However, the Bhagavad Gita shows us how to apply these morals practically. It emphasizes that Dharma (righteousness) must guide our actions. Non-violence is essential, but when Adharma (unrighteousness) prevails, as in Arjuna's situation, standing up for Dharma through righteous action becomes necessary, even if it involves conflict. Krishna's guidance isn't about promoting violence but about fulfilling one's duty to uphold justice and righteousness. So both are correct in their own context
