Everyone is sharing their own attempts so I want too :) I started on honour mode. All went alright until the very last moment. I reloaded a couple of times at the Void Dragon because he refused to get one shotted but at the last attempt he killed one of my heroes before I hit F8. So the game saved xD Thank God he had only 450 hp left. I resurected my hero and flee and started thinking about what to do. I collected 10 oil barrels in a chest and teleported once again to the Void Dragon. For some reason he spawned like 15 of his minions. Anyways I tried blowing him but barrels didn't explode after the destruction of a chest. Istead I just put the chest on his wing and he died. All this was hella fun! Thanks for the speedrun!
i really feel that xD first playthrough roughly 100 hours, 2nd (on tactician and lone wolf) around barely 60h. Skipping dialogues and only got to crafting like 3 times.
Well, that's a good thing, you're supposed to enjoy the 'climb' and the scenery and take it slow. Also, I personally don't really consider reaching the end credits 'beating the game', I consider defeating ALL the enemies that the game has to offer as beating the game. If you want a harder challenge in this regard, try the mod 'Epic Encounters'.
I just play only with drops. Its so fun xD and really not difficult cus drops in game are pratty usefull. Ill never lear the crafting cus dont think is really necessary or made u op.

Just made my own slow speedrun without any info outside of the game, without pyramid stuff and without that insane dmg to void dragon (lava chest.. very smart), took me 2 hours first try just for fun, main stuff used is clipping through 2 doors with barrels and boxes and telekinesis of 2000 weight barrel (guess didnt have to make it that big, lost an hour on it). At least it was created all by myself, great game. Honour mode done first try in 20h after just 1 tactician run, no potions, no grenades, 2x lone wolfs, it looked easy, if you just know where to split team, so you are not blown up, anyeay, died twice (first fight x) and some golem close combat oneshot, just relaxed).
Ok, this is very old so I am not sure anyone will see this, but... I just tried this method and in the end, the dragon only takes about 6650 damage. I see that this playthrough is on Explorer, so maybe that's the reason?
mmmhhhh.... Void Dragon killed in 6.11.40 ... well, then it is almost possible to win the game in more or less the same time you can read the End Credits. Oooch ... it hurts. Nice job !

Just managed to use this strat just now for my honor mode run, mostly just because i wanted the achievement and felt better then just using someone else's save :) Managed it in 9:54, which i was happy with, but had to reload at the void dragon several times because it refused to one shot him, lol!

Would you have the coordinates to simply skip to the beginning of Gardens ? edit: Figured it out: 906:84 brings you right at the beginning of garden. You still miss quite a lot of content but can't find out how to teleport to Leandra fight place et all so far ...
Seems that teleknesis is broken actually, i'd wager you can move light if not all objects the way he did. Wish he'd explained how to do it though, seems he drops it inside itself and picks it up before the animation plays, but without the inputs it's hard to know for sure.

Interestingly enough, the explanations for a lot of the more mundane time killing moves on here take about 10 times the amount of time to explain than the split second it takes to do the action on screen most of the time.
No reason why it wouldn't work, except for the dragon fight, don't think there's anything that would behave diferently on other dificulties. So i guess you'd need a few more barrels inside the chest to kill the dragon but that whould be about it.

Can't believe I was persuaded into playing this joke "rpg". Pressing 1 all the time will not end up well in actual good games like Dragon Age Origins. Screw this borefest and the 40 hours I lost by believing people it's worth a dime
You know that he skipped the entire game right? not true, some of the outcome of the conversatios are negative because of the always press 1, this game has dialogue with choices that can change things for better or worse, this is a speedrun it is suposed to end the game fast, and not play its story/lore, have you seen speedruns from dragon age origins? most dialogues are just skiped with the same method.
i'm not sure whether to take this comment seriously or not..either way that's a pretty bad summary of the game because the speedrunner skipped the whole damn game in this video. Anyways gg wp if you were being sarcastic
I haven't played DOS1 yet; but in DOS2 I used to think the same thing; very briefly when I was still new to the game, lol. My first hint about 1 not being accurate is I pissed off Murina the Brave (that little furry rodent) who wouldn't speak to me after that. But yeah, if you want to speed through it in a speed run like he did, just know who to speak to beforehand, and 1 is very friendly to you; if you plan everything out. But that has nothing to do with the aspect of the RPG elements of dialogue itself in the game.
4/5, it was a bit hard to follow the story because the dialogue was so fast. -.-

Absolutely a minimum if you want to enjoy the game, and talk to every living being you encounter with 1, 2, 3, 4 legs or more...
Game looks like the Witcher 2 : 20 hours on Chapter 1 (Cyseal) , 10 Hours on chapter 2 (Luculla Forest), Chapter 3 = almost credits
Try the mod epic encounters if you want to make the game much longer and more difficult.
Cyseal as in Act 1 should IDEALLY take you around 25-30hrs so you're good

WOW! This is surprising! I spent more than 200h to finnish the game with my friend. Crafting and blacksmithing took us so much time.

hold down the left mouse button and click on the right one without releasing the left button
Fun fact you can throw any item that you can pick up as far as you want with this method.
use your left hand to pick the ps4 up and use the right hand to throw it in the trash then buy a pc

The default talents aren't available with the ability changes. So they just select the top 2 out of convenience.

It's not a hack, it's a glitch from a 2014 game that was rushed and not play-tested enough. There are quite a few glitches.
