ok, so i shouldnt just spam the bombs? ive just been throwing as fast as i could unless i knew i could catch a certain bug in 1 or 2 hits. like when i mine rocks and there was a big thunder beetle (or something like that) and i probably hit it with 20 bombs cuz i didnt want it to disappear, should i instead just have spaced it out? Would i have caught it in 2 or 3 or 6 hits? Im confused how this mechanic works.
I have found that spamming them doesn't change the catch, so I space them out. Some bugs like Mantis, or the boulder beetles are just a bit harder in general until you get upgraded smoke bombs
hello love your video's ...Question...How to collect bug medals///im trying to save up my bug medals to get that aquarium, but its taking forever,,,i kill like a 100 bugs to increase my level to only get 10 bug medal...I'm only at 620 and need to get 980 bug medals...is there any other way to..i did collect a few bonus worth 40 and 30,,but that was awhile ago...
just got my terrarium, yipppie...want to ask you Kurrie , how do I run faster, everyone runs so fast i can't keep up..and also can i change my name ...thanxyou...love your videos

i thought i was just really bad or needed a higher quality smoke bomb/belt but no, that stupid hopping guy literally took you 7 tries so it's not just me with my low level stuff
Hold down R if you are on the computer and it should bring up the ammo menu! The button for it on the Switch will be on the bottom right of the screen (Im unsure whidc one it iis off the top of my head)

OMG I just realised how bug catching in Palia is basically Pokémon 😅
I think pokemon was based on bug catching
when I'm hunting bugz my meter goes up slowlllly, my question is if I catch crabs will my bug meter still go up, or is it only for bugs the meter
Technically crabs are considered "Bugs/Critters" so they will increase bug catching skills!

If you hit Shift on the keyboard for PC or you press Y on switch it will set you into a running mode! You don't need to hold it down.

Yeah, I haven't quite figured out how some of them are sooo much harder to get than others, sometimes within the same species haha
Star quality items are worth exactly 50% more! If you're fishing or bug catching for money, it's a great way to go!
