Think about what this man just did. Not only did he win a tournament packed with super GMs, but he simultaneously kept all of his fans entertained by visiting the confessional on multiple occasions. He was essentially the fourth commentator for God's sake! And on top of that, he won Titled Tuesday on his freaking day off. We have entered a new era of chess, and Hikaru Nakamura is its number one ambassador. Congratulations, Hikaru. You are the man.

Been following Hikaru since before he won Wijk aan Zee in 2011. Talk about a tournament! Another incredible win here. It is great to seen him finally making some good money. The top chess players deserve it. Of course, all chess players have Bobby Fischer to thank for that. It is his most significant contribution to the game.

First congratulations in winning the Norway Chess 2023 Tournament(!) in style, from behind ... and thank you for your honesty in pointing out that it is mostly chess genius/experience and a tiny bit of luck that wins such incredibly strong tournaments. Thank You for your willingness to share your feelings on chess issues before/during/after chess events ... those feelings that you can share. :) I am constantly stunned by your dedication in giving others chess insights, including how you handle chess-related anxiety. In watching your streams I always feel like I am getting a free high-level chess lesson that cannot be matched by other chess commentators ... and that I owe you money at the end of the stream. I can only hope that you will continue these outstanding efforts, and I hope that you constantly meet others that remind you of how much you are appreciated (as you also stated in this Tournament as well).
