it doesnt stop oculus from launching ive connected to link and then opened steamvr oculus was still open i tried to have steamvr open first and then connect to link but oculus still opens and steam didnt detect anything so sadly it doesnt stop oculus
Were u able to kill the oculus processes in task manager or did that cripple the setup? Also when I finally get my cable I’m gunna try completely uninstalling the oculus software and trying it cuz that’s my intention anyways
@@ChazBuns I didn't try it but since it instantly loaded into oculus first it would definitely kill it
Was wondering if you ever found a fix for this. I mainly ask because while I try to run games through steamvr it doesn't let me access my steam ui menu (maybe cuz of some oculus stuff)

You must FIND a PAY a local professional to fix your VR stuff. Steam hates customers and headset manufactures think that anyone who is crazy enough to buy their plastic crap DESERVES to get screwed.

also steam hates customers my ass. they have some of the best customer support i've seen, very very helpful when i have issues with my index.
