As such the actual killing is kinda glassed over "we fought, it was pretty crazy, and he died". Not really an excuse but hey.

I was half expecting him to just tie the bad guy up but was impressed that the MC actually seemed to deliver justice against the murderer! I was also pleased it was resolved in one episode instead of drawing it out. I think the glasses being knocked off convinced me it was a true death.
I felt he ended him based on MC monologue and the symbolic glasses falling then the body falls later. Using a club does blunt force trauma so doing a killing blow that doesnt crush the head means he crushed the chest. Guess the studio didnt want to go brutal on the finishing blow.
What if the God of Hell from Isekai will resurrect and offer Tanaka back to life. Tanaka wants to have his vengeance, enrage, strongest, becoming dangerous monster, conquer, his hands of death will be reveal, and he will assemble an army of evil human combatants in Isekai like (Tribals, Bandits, Raiders, Military, and Barbarians) to raid Omui, he'll seeking and want to murder Class Rep to have her Hijack skill, and he'll murder Jocks, Nerds, Haruka's Harem, and everyone in Omui in their town will be perish and fallen into ruin. Haruka still can’t catch a break though but good things are still ahead.
I hope people don’t take this the wrong way but when the girls told Haruka it was Lecture time I my reaction was, “damn this dude has a half a classroom of wives now”. In all seriousness I wonder where the story will go from here. Will he actually go the rest of it alone or will he continue to be followed by the girls for the rest of the story? Or maybe it’ll be just the class rep since she has the strongest connection with him. I hope it’s one of the latter two because it’s hilarious how he keeps trying to be alone but ends up being dragged around or followed by someone.

huh i have no idea what character could lead the show other than him. on one hand be interesting as not many go that route but on the other the cast is written in a way that really they all feel like side characters and not that fleshed out
What I don't understand at this point is why Tanaka (i.e what AH calls the school shooter), didn't just walk off if he hated them so much. He could have just started his life over in this new world where his op skill could have helped him with his new life. In fact, I don't understand why Haruka (the MC) does not just tell class rep that he wishes to live alone. She did not stop the Nerds, Jocks and Delinquents from leaving, but just has to hold on poor Haruka.
Some people just wait for their moment to be evil. It's honestly scary how many would go crazy if given the option (power to do so or no repercussions)
He was a hollow sociopath who felt powerless in his original world. due to his intellect he felt everyone other then him was not even human. once he got access to the new world and magic, he decided he would take over the world. basic bad guy. the next few are better developed and deal with more complicated things.
I really liked that fight. Haruka had a fair share of troubles and was not in OP mode as you would think after merging all that stuff into his weapon. It came down to how to utilize weapons and skills, as well as when. That psycho's death, I mean, if we remember what Haruka fired at the level 50 goblin emperor with his made up skills until dawn.. That psycho didn't have the level nor the physique of that monster. I assumed he got literally fried or blown up on the inside. Yea, probably a bit of blood instead of white foam would have made it much more clearer for everyone, but given the events before the final blow, Haruka surely was not in the mood for a peaceful end of the fight. As for the title, since Japanese can be quite ambiguous and translating that isn't easy either in some cases. "Hitoribocchi" is basically the word for "loner". They could have translated it even as "A loner's life in..." which probably makes more sense. He is a person who wants to live a life in solitude, but he can't.. So, the emphasis of the title is more like "About a guy who wants to live a life in solitude in another world" (My Thursday ends with 'Goodbye Dragon Life')
The novel did a much better job in making Tanaka’s death clear; both the manga and anime portrayed it in a rather ambiguous manner. The novel also has the benefit of describing what the [Gambit] skill actually does i.e. a suicide attack.
Yeah, the LN fight was great, i loved how he kept forgetting Tanaka's name. i am currently 60% through book 8. the LN is amazing, but too long to adapt in a 12 ep anime. still cool we will get to see Armor Rep. i cant wait for Slimy in season 2.
Honestly I was confused whether Haruka did kill Tanaka or not 😅 But it turn out than yes! Once more he can't go back to lonely life because of the class rep 🤣 I enjoy watching this show a lot!
I mean if you combined two magics it could become one combination attack, so the 1+1 isnt always 2 in a fantasy world. Edit: Haruka activates Make Up at the end right? And considering Make Up equals to Weapon Skill then yeah the dude definitely ded.
This is gonna sound harsh but the fight was pretty bad from an anime only PoV, maybe the LN did it better because it's able to cover all the skills he used in that fight. Based on what the anime shown, he barely used all the skills he learned, including OP one he was hyping up about that he used against the Goblin Emperor last ep (I think it was Made-Up?). Maybe he did use more skills mid-fight but they didn't want to interrupt the action w/ constant explanation? But he didn't even try to use any of the elemental magic he got, on top of being able to 'fly'/Airwalk to avoid attacks. Also what is the Gambit skill he used at the end to finish Tanaka? The subtitles keep changing skill names between eps... (Dummy -> Blockhead).
LN is very confusing. I can't treat the LN properly due to how he's not a trustable mc. I much prefer the manga right now as source material. And the only thing I appreciated of the LN was probably yapping and focus of the mc. In the manga, the battle was much more brutal and showcased and showing the adaptation to the abilities meaning he had to take dmg. And both were bloody at the end. Anime didn't take w in the fight fully. Censorship or lazy. I guess we will never know
Uhm... anyone that has read the source material: Could you explain the reason behind the annoying beeches that treat him like some sort of incarcerate slave even though they depended on him to get them out of the forrest? It's like they own him, not letting him out of the town while they do whatever they want? Other than the juice girl, who at least seems to like him in some sort of way, the other chicks, especially the class rep, are trash. So, if anyone knows, could you please explain what is going on? Does he ever get to leave them dumb beeches?
They see him as the only ray of hope/happiness since they arrived in the new world. this slowly get worse as the book's go on, all 20 girls plus 10 others and growing develop yandere tendencies and possessiveness over him and refer to him as the communal husband by book 3. once he starts making cloths/food/gear, he loses any chance to escape. TLDR: they obsess over/ love him and are trying to lecture him to keep him alive, but in the LN he never see's anything he does as wrong "he literally slaughters hundreds of thousands of monsters by book 3" he's also known as the scumbag/ripoff hero and loves underhanded tactics for slaughtering monsters and taking out bandits or enemy humans.
Major spoilers… - No he doesn’t leave the girls they become a pseudo harem - class rep feels responsible for her classmates especially Haruka since she knows what happened to his family
@@IdleWandering Yeah, escape is futile once he starts his side gigs and becomes the house husband with out his knowledge. i am currently finishing LN 8. the harems yandere tendencies are way more apparent now.
@@ModDemon So... essentially, he's a slave and is always around his slave masters? Why is this called *LONER* Life?
So, the emphasis of the title is more like "About a guy who wants to live a life in solitude in another world"
(My Thursday ends with 'Goodbye Dragon Life')
The art style looks cute and funny so it doesn't really register to me some of the kids are already murdered by one of their classmates
i cant find this show anywhere to stream...and no site i can pirate the show
It's on every single site
@@AHBrandonReviews not on crunchyroll guy
Sometimes I think that the Loner in the title is for the viewer and not mc XD
The novel did a much better job in making Tanaka’s death clear; both the manga and anime portrayed it in a rather ambiguous manner. The novel also has the benefit of describing what the [Gambit] skill actually does i.e. a suicide attack.
Yeah, the LN fight was great, i loved how he kept forgetting Tanaka's name. i am currently 60% through book 8. the LN is amazing, but too long to adapt in a 12 ep anime. still cool we will get to see Armor Rep. i cant wait for Slimy in season 2.
Honestly I was confused whether Haruka did kill Tanaka or not 😅
But it turn out than yes!
Once more he can't go back to lonely life because of the class rep 🤣
I enjoy watching this show a lot!
I mean if you combined two magics it could become one combination attack, so the 1+1 isnt always 2 in a fantasy world.
Edit: Haruka activates Make Up at the end right? And considering Make Up equals to Weapon Skill then yeah the dude definitely ded.
oops I haven't watched this one yet. I'll be back..
fun show
it is 23 minutes of entertainment, its about the same as the fruit of evolution season 1 it was entertainment that I watch because it's airing.
Major spoilers…
- No he doesn’t leave the girls they become a pseudo harem
- class rep feels responsible for her classmates especially Haruka since she knows what happened to his family
I think I'm going to drop the anime, and if what you two say is true, I'll stay away from the Light Novel as well. Seems like this is definitely not the kind of character I could enjoy reading.
Thank you both for your replies.
