Get yourself the film shield aka frog tounge. It'll even out the colors. The opacifier layer is flawed and the film is ever so slightly still transparent after it comes out of the camera. Also, your jamming problem is likely oxydised battery contacts. easily solved. Take an empty pack and remove the battery, tape some cotton felt over the battery holes inside where the battery sat. Place scotch tape over the battery contacts and reassemble .Apply isopropyl alcohol to the felt in the holes and insert and remove it six times or so. Boom, diy polaroid battery contact cleaner.
Fifty years ago, the photos were sharper, the colours were in a class of their own and the film developed in 45 seconds. Fifty years later you have to wait 5 minutes, the film is so so, it is not sharp and costs a fortune to buy. That guy Land was genious. Good photography, though.
