Wade your killing me with these previews of this boat. I loved my homeslice but I was too big for it. So eager to get my hands on the super nova and I hope it's a good fit for a 220 pounder, 6'2'', with size 13 feet! Thanks for the info you dig up.
I'm intrigued. I'll have to give it a try sometime to see if I like it more than my homeslice. The medium rewind is my favorite boat ever so I have faith that they knocked this out of the park too.
Absolutely LOVE mine!!! I had a Large Ozone - I enjoyed it, but I'd feel more confident taking this one anywhere I took the Ozone. Much better stability, and even though it's a true full slice, the parting line seems to be less catchy - of maybe the wider hull and volume distribution counteracts it better. Ozone was comfortable, but not at this level. I did prefer the foot positioning, but I'm getting used to the SN. The Ozone was quicker to load in the tail, even in the large, but I wouldn't go back to the Ozone over this SN. I'm running two boat for the rest of this season - the SuperNova and the Ripper 2 Large - couldn't be happier.
I have been in the ozone M and it’s not a full slice boat like the supernova so the comparison is slightly off but to answer your questions Room-ozone Comfort- supernova Sliceness- supernova by a lot River running- ozone
Well the ozone is not a full slice boat and it is good wave boat but still the supernova is better and what makes it better is the width in the center with thin and deep aggressive rails when the final production releases I will do full detailed walkthrough
That looks like it's a smooth gliding boat. How's the foot room? Do you get burrito feet like the old school boats? That would be a no go for me if it was uncomfortable on the feet.
Ever sat in a dagger vengeance or medieval? No burrito feet with those old designs and they are about as slicey as it gets beyond WS XXX or LL session. I think this is going to have a similar bow.
I was wearing shoes in it and had a guy in the parking lot jump in it he was 6’5” size 14 and he fit tight but said it fit better then anything he has been in so that’s probably max
@@WadeHarrison Nope I love seeing this! Compared the Delirious next to the Nova on the upper G last month and they took the best features and improved upon it. Great they're making a bigger size too should sell well 👍
Looks like Dagger may have a winner with this one, especially with how comfortable you and Matt seem to be saying it is. Any thoughts on how it compares to the Mixmaster in comfort and performance?
Supernova is better on a wave and better paddling down river then the Mixmaster But thought the Mixmaster flatwater cartwheeled better and was better balanced end to end the Supernova was better in a play hole the volume keeps its from swamping down in the foam pile like the MM did comfort the Dagger outfitting is very difficult to beat for any company but the mixmaster was really good I thought and to remind you this is still a prototype so I gave alot of feedback from my time in the boat so we will see how much they listened when the final production model hits?
Yes it is out and It’s not a full slice and I 100% will say it’s better wave boat almost all spud boats are I’m only comparing it to modern full slice out there today
I like how it has the original Dagger logo on it!
Yeah don’t know if it’s going to stay like that I suggested maybe a hybrid like old school logo meets new

It different then the homeslice
@@WadeHarrison more balanced I hope. Looks like a surf machine and super loose on the wave. I'm waiting anxiously for volume and weight ratings.
I freaking love you're humor 🤣 sounds like some shit I would say "everybody gather around" this is why I watch you videos lol
😂 yeah I’m always joking around about something

For sure you get this on a wave you will be so impressed!

Great comparison thanks for the feedback buddy
Be great to hear your thoughts on SuperNova Vs Ozone L in the following area's, room/comfort, sliceyness/cartwheelability and river running.
I have been in the ozone M and it’s not a full slice boat like the supernova so the comparison is slightly off but to answer your questions
Room-ozone
Comfort- supernova
Sliceness- supernova by a lot
River running- ozone
@@WadeHarrison wow, Supernova wins in comfort despite less room. That’s awesome. Definitely looking forward to trying this boat.
@@WadeHarrison Cheers buddy
I am so hyped of this boat
Yeah I really liked the final prototype
Hey Wade, what makes it as good or better than the ozone? I know the outfitting is awesome, I’m curious about performance.

Love to see this boat compared to the old EGO and superEGO.
@@danielgelinas7141 will
See if can get one

Same question, asking for an old guy with bad knee's and ankles
I was wearing shoes in it and had a guy in the parking lot jump in it he was 6’5” size 14 and he fit tight but said it fit better then anything he has been in so that’s probably max
It’s a big boat
Yeah Ted that’s why I always liked the dagger boats it’s because of the knee area brings the feet back more so can fit a wider range of paddlers
YEA BUDDY!!
Good times!
I cant wait to get in one of these
Just one winter away 😊
Ok you talked me into it. When can we buy it?
😂 it’s still being prototype looks like spring but stores are taking preorders
At 5'9" 165lbs, I generally struggle between sizes. Does the nova seem small or the supernova large? Is one more like a medium?
Yup your right in the middle of nova and super your going to have to paddle both to see exactly which one
Behold the modern day Delirious 🙌
You might be in to something there Prijor??😉😉😉 and that’s not a bad thing
@@WadeHarrison Nope I love seeing this! Compared the Delirious next to the Nova on the upper G last month and they took the best features and improved upon it. Great they're making a bigger size too should sell well 👍

Funny with the paddle back gopro
yeah went with a different angle
I want one of these so badly. Looks like a Centrifuge
Yes in the knee area it is
Is that Wade in a COSMOS.....?
Yeah this one is the prototype just whatever color they had that day
@@WadeHarrison just picking. I'm excited to see what comes of them. Good video.
@@atwood123456 I did have the second one in the new 2022 color if you seen my IG or Facebook now that color is awesome!
@@WadeHarrison I just went and looked. That is a good lookin boat.
Max weight for Super Nova, what is your guess Wade?
I’m going to say 240 would max that boat out..
To be fair dagger hasnt been in my sights for years but this boat appeals to me
Well holy sh*t if Chuck Norris is paddling it I can can for sure bet it will sale millions!
Hahahaha rumours have it that I dont need to use a paddle as the boat cartwheels itself 😂😂
@@MegaPaddles I believe that!
I want!!! It'll have to be the smaller Nova.
They should both be released same time..
I need this boat! I wish I never sold my Dagger I’d. Do you know when this will be on the market? Love your videos, keep it up 👍
I can see this boat having its place in a line up
Salivating
Need to let you jump in one soon I know you have paddled about every newer full slice out there
@@WadeHarrison can't wait.
Comparison to the Ozone?
Ozone is more what I would say is a 3/4 slice not full slice the supernova is better on a wave the wide center and thin ends make it better with spins
Wade Harrison Thanks!
Lets see it next to the King of all slicers, the Ultrafuge.
Yeah the ultra was a true dagger classic this boat is better in every way
@@WadeHarrison Nice, can't wait to get in one
Rock Star 5 is out
Yes it is out
and It’s not a full slice and I 100% will say it’s better wave boat almost all spud boats are I’m only comparing it to modern full slice out there today
@@WadeHarrison I was just letting you know that new toy was out
Yeah thanks buddy I actually reached out and will hopefully be doing a full walkthrough and on water with it soon?
First? Froggyman?
Yeah he has been slacking lately
Lets see it next to the King of all slicers, the Ultrafuge.
It’s a good one that’s for sure
The best slicey boat I ever paddled was the pyranha s:6 190, I could cartwheel that thing forever
@@MegaPaddles the s6 is a really good one ☝🏻 it was just very short for a slice
