The scene between "Jodie" and her real mom will be forever seared into my head...it seemed so real! If that wasn't convincing, I challenge you to cite an example from any other game where such feeling was conveyed? Remember too that Ellen had to physically play/act out ALL scenarios/choices you make in the game and they weren't really done in order...so to keep responses in line with what the character's personality is, they all had to be believable to the "Jodie" you play.

You mean the guy who was so bad of a writer/director that Hollywood and movie companies didn't want him and he just up and made his own video game company because he was apparently a "visionary ahead of his time." What "gameplay" are they talking about? Beyond: Two Souls had no game play. You don't even get one good story and twenty bad ones... you get ONE BAD story. Each choice you make doesn't affect the plot (with gaping plot holes) one bit.
In New Zealand we have to pay about 130 bucks on a new release game and even a year after release it only reduces to 90 bucks at least, and the only games that are close to 60 bucks are the HD collections, so you should feel grateful
1) David Cage looks like Dave Attell and Louis CK had a son. 2) this game looks incredible. 3) Ellen Page is consistently proving how talented she is. This is no exception. I'm getting this game.

And though of course I loved Ellen's game you do kind of have to admit its more of an interactive movie than a game. Its a story based game where you mostly move the character to do stuff and then it plays out in a sequence rather than actively moving the character within the environment. Its kind of hard to describe why it feels so different than say Tomb raider or the Last of Us. But it does not feel like any or much effort is even needed to finish the game. But again I'd buy the game of Ellen Page watching paint dry So I ironically am biased to say Beyond is a better game only because the real Ellen is in it. Still fun to play even if there is not much game play

Thing is, when Naughty Dog realized how much Ellie looked like Page, they changed her appearance a little to make her look more like her VA, but it seems they didn't changer her enough.

I do have a ps3. What im saying is that you don't need 2 consoles to be a gamer. And the reason I don't have an Xbox is because i don't want to buy another console for the sole purpose of playing exclusives, it would just give me a hard decision on which console will i buy the non-exclusives for. Most of my friends play on the PS3, but there is less lag on Xbox. Oh and I dont want to pay for a membership every month.

ohhh another thing.... didn't see the surprise twist at the end with aiden... it ranks up there with block buster movie twist like the sixth sense n such... great game

Games like this are a niche for the PS3 as multiple devs have said its the more mature platform for adults. That explains the more creative content not rehashes

If 'The Last of Us' is going to be filmed with Ellen Page as Ellie, trust me, it will be one of the most successfully films ever. I know how you feel. It's sad when there are more comments about XBOX vs PS (or PC) than the video itself. We share the same hobby of gaming which should bring us closer but it only opposes us! Why does the 3d model look better than the real thing? Same thing with kara: the 3d model looked better. There's a subtlety that makes them look different.
Ellen Page looks and sounds like she's 20 years old, but seems to be really mature even for whatever age she is. As for this game, I hope it's good, but from what I saw in videos, I could go either way on it. More than one aspect of it seems amazing, but a few others go against the high quality which makes it somewhat worse off in my opinion. I don't know. I just hope it's good, because it really seems as if everyone that's working on the game is working hard to achieve something special.

David Cage is a great person in personality... he is very pleasant in meeting people.... even tho his schedule is busy he still meets his fans.

I solved that problem by buying both a PS3 & Xbox 360. You can do the same.

This game should've been a tv series. It had less videogame components as Heavy Rain. But I'm happy that Ellen enjoyed the experience

I think/hope that she's saying that the game developers did an excellent job replicating her in the video game.
they were really close in an interview and they been hanging out a bit too much but whatevers. If she is gay than she is gay. She is still one hell of an actress
Even though they changed Ellie's look, I still can't help but think to myself, "Ellen Page" whenever I see any videos or pictures of Last of Us.
Yeah, it's mostly indie games on PC, but they're amazing. You ever hear of Amnesia? That's just one example.

I know how you feel. It's sad when there are more comments about XBOX vs PS (or PC) than the video itself. We share the same hobby of gaming which should bring us closer but it only opposes us!
There are still plenty of emotionally stable gamers who enjoy games and don't act like consoles were religions (I have nothing against religions, but I couldn't think of another analogy)
Why does the 3d model look better than the real thing? Same thing with kara: the 3d model looked better. There's a subtlety that makes them look different.
PS4 doesn't have backwards compatibility so i would recommend getting a ps3 once the price drops again.
Ellen Page looks and sounds like she's 20 years old, but seems to be really mature even for whatever age she is. As for this game, I hope it's good, but from what I saw in videos, I could go either way on it. More than one aspect of it seems amazing, but a few others go against the high quality which makes it somewhat worse off in my opinion. I don't know. I just hope it's good, because it really seems as if everyone that's working on the game is working hard to achieve something special.
