Yeh I've seen rs outdoors with this & always wondered if I cld find a review on it...hey ho here u are 😊 thank you, I'm hooked now! Like you I've tried a few front pack options but nvr found the one yet.
@@angiethompson4457 defo worth it but can make you sweat a bit. Also I have noticed you have to tape up the straps military style but still good to have in the arsenal 🤟🏼
Good review. I saw this item listed in comments section of another one of your videos, and I was really interested, so I checked the web-site prior to watching this vid. I`ve been using a cheap self-modified thigh-bag as a chest-rig for ages, cos I find all the others too narrow to accommodate my large water canteen (and a lot of other bits) that I like right in front of me (I`m not a big fan of pack hydration reservoirs) and it works really well, but I`ve been looking for a manufactured alternative for yonks, and therefore I`m really happy to have finally found something reasonably priced that will actually suit my needs. So thanks to you for posting the link in the decathlon tent vid, and cheerss for uploading this, this is exactly what I`ve been looking for, for years! 👍👍👍
Ah so glad your chuffed. 🙏It’s great to give people advice or at least give some out there an alternative of what’s hidden out there on the wander of the web. Oh & thanks for the comments it’s nice to get a little feedback. It’s my pleasure. 😇
@@escapeoutdoors. Yes mate, I`m very grateful that you`ve guided me towards exactly what I`ve been searching for, thank you. I`m looking forward to receiving it. P.S. I`ve just subbed! 🙂👍
Nice review. Clean editing. I have also faffed around trying different "front" options. Chest pack i didn't like as couldn't see my feet, most hip packs are pretty small or too bulky, or in the sizes I want, would constantly be banging on my upper legs as walking. In the end I found a hip pack: mountain hardwear camp 4 hip pack. It has a slot on the back that you can slide your rucksack hipbelt through. Then it just sits nicely on the front without interfering with anything. Ive looked into Ribz before but never found them for sale anywhere and importing from US to Sweden is not favourable pricing.
I understand I didn’t want to buy from the US because of the additional fees but for some reason there were no extra fees I was chuffed. When I imported the Gossamer gear one I swear I was robbed blind by customs. I’ll have a look at the other pack you’ve mentioned so cheers for that.
I also have the Ribz Front Pack and it's a nice pack in addition to my backpack but what I don't like about the Ribz is the zippers. It would have been a really awesome pack if they would have used YKK zippers instead of these weak zippers. The idea and design of the pack is great and I love it except for the zippers.
@@RJ-oo3vf I understand that or even waterproof zippers but for the price you can’t knock it. I have a chest rig too but like the convenience of having this style to.
@@escapeoutdoors. where I live they don't sell the Ribz so I had to order it from France and the price including shipping was €100. Maybe you got it for a lower price but that's what I had to pay for it.

@@escapeoutdoors. yeah that's odd. I don't think youd pay any import fees if it's under £135, but pretty sure you'd still need to pay VAT on that?

@RJ-oo3vf I ordered from the US to come to the UK was very surprised it came in a week maybe mine came from France too ? 🤔
@@escapeoutdoors. If it would come from France you'll get a notification in French just like I did. 😀
