U see in sankrit water is udak indu etc. But spoken Sinhalese water is watura, which is only found in hittite and other european languages. It shows that many sister languages of sanskrit existed in india. Now they recently found proto bangani which is extinct. It was also a sister language with very different features that r only found outside india.
