With regards to poor attendance at Thomond Park, more high profile matches need to be held in Cork. People from Cork are not travelling to Limerick for a number of reasons and this needs to be addressed
I'm from Cork and there's nothing like Heineken Cup games in Thomond Park. I will always go to Musgrave as it's local but it's never going to be the same atmosphere.
The problem with the targeting certainly tournaments or resting players at the expense of an absolute hiding is that most teams who try it have the wheels fly off on pretty promising seasons. The Bulls have never learned their lesson. I remember Gloucester where going well in the Premiership until they decided to rotate against Leinster and their season never recovered.
I think the strategy on pens might be changing. There certainly seems to be a lot more in the game now. Whether that's to do with the rule changes, I don't know. But I suspect it's part of it. NZ conceded 11 pens in their win over Eng. SA conceded 14 in their win over Eng, and France 13 in their win over NZ. While a lot has been said about Ireland's poor discipline over the Autumn, no one has really mentioned that they only conceded five tries over the four games, which is very solid. Leinster gave away 17 pens against Bristol, but Bristol didn't convert any of those into 3 points. Though they scored 2 tries, one of those was when the game was already over. Nienabar is definitely not the kind of coach who will try and keep the pen count down just for the sake of it. He will willingly give away more pens if he thinks that will help his team win. That all said, the trips on Sunday were just silly and could easily have been more seriously punished.

Drop the last 16
Definitely. Think the URC Need to drop the quarter final as well. Underminds the rest of the tournament

Stop watching Irish podcasts if they offend you so much. I've checked out your previous comments and you never have anything positive to say.
That's just how Irish people talk
