Late Season Swell. * RAW FOOTAGE*

On September 30th, 2024, JBay lit up once again, with Supers delivering some incredible late-season swell. The local crew scored big, enjoying less crowded conditions than usual. There were amazing turns and some spectacular tube rides that added to the excitement. Will this be the final swell of 2024? Maybe, but It looks like we might see another little swell roll in about a week!

South Africa, Eastern Cape is a great place to visit if you are a surfer. There are plenty of great waves and tons to do when the surf is not to great. Eg: there are some awesome wildlife reserves within 2 hours drive, great food and all round good vibes. The best time to visit if you are a surfer is in between May - August and I would suggest a stay of at lease 6 weeks if you really want to enjoy the whole winter surf scene experience.
There are also some great surf schools around and plenty of some beginner to intermediate surf spots.
