My Twinkles are always in a state if constant growth. Even when they are pushing up spikes they are also pushing out new bulbs. Mine are heavy feeders because of this. They’re heavy drinkers but that’s because they’re on my windowsill, taking my high Texas heat and nearly full sun.
In the home, there wouldn't be any low temps to slow them down and, depending what part of the world, no short day lengths? If they want to grow, let them and help them along.
Amen!! I couldn't agree more about the parentage and... awesome that you brought it up 👍🏼👍🏼 i got the timing wrong... after stats check emails, still, I got it wrong... Next Twinkle video is going to be Jan or February 2023 😅 thank you, Roger, for taking the time out of your busy schedule to join in! Know that it is,so very much appreciated 🌸 hope all is goung according to plan 🙏
Thanks. Most of the 'move' and rubbish removal is now done. Planning on moving across with the cats on Sunday - internet is getting switched ready for sometime on Monday. Orchids will have to wait for a while.
Hi Roger, do you find the different colours have different fragrances? My white gx has an edible sweet vanilla scent, where as my red/pink has a more vanilla soapy type smell, same for the yellow. Is that the case for you? Also what does your cinnamon smell like please.
Always enjoy your collab videos. How would you recommend caring for twinkle if new growths are coming along with trying to bloom if grown in the home? Your usual adage? When in growth, feed and water well? 🌸❤️

Mine seems to be doing the same 😃

I appreciate the Oncidium twinkle care video, thanks Rodger. Hope all is good.
You're welcome.
Thank you, very useful video as it addressed some growing conditions I have been wondering about 😊

My Tiny Twinkle Gold Miner is in spike! I can't believe it has two spikes on a small seedling!
Most bulbs produce two spikes when growing well.
Around here they seem to always be doing something, even though they do slow down in winter.
I think the 'annual cycle' is imposed on them here due mainly to short day-lengths.

The Twinkle 'cinnamon' has more of a vanilla chocolate fragrance.

If an orchid wants to grow, then it should be encouraged.
Can’t keep those sort of plants I always die on me
