    Great flying in beautiful Norway! Landing seems to be made at Flaps 35 with full reverse at Touchdown. Quite uncomfortable for the Passengers though. But necessary for the short RWY.

      Marek7773 Thanks for watching! You're right that we use flap 35 for landing on these short (800m) strips, but no reverse was used! We rarely use reverse, because it's simply not necessary. Upon touchdown we move the powerlevers to DISC which creates enough drag to slow the aircraft, in combination with light use of the brakes. To the passengers it might sound like reverse, because there is a change i prop-rpm and -pitch.

    Weird comment. What does using it like a car mean? They can't just do a straight in approach when there are mountain ridges in the way, this is the safest way possible (much safer than a car). And they only do visual approaches when its: Visual conditions..

    How loaded were you on those landings? They're pretty short!

    wow, you're using it like a car. Well and the approach seems pretty dangerous to me because of that mountain.

    If you're refering to the sound at [00:45], thats the Autopilot Disengage warning. It's an aural warning to let us know the A/P is being disengaged. Due to the timelapse of the video file, the sound is at a higher pitch than normal.

      +Niklas Enblom A mo in norwegian is more like a field.

      Would be fun if it was, but it's named after the old big farm that was called Mo. So "The lake under Mo"

    • @helgelynghaug5621
      @helgelynghaug5621 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mo is the name of a old farm in the area. Mo mean something like "a higher area than the surroundings". Mosjøen are actually where the sea houses (Boat houses and so on) were. -sjøen actually means "the sea" and might mean something like shore or beach, So the word Mosjøen is translatable to the "Beaching place for the Mo farm." Moose are actually Elg in norwegian.

    Did I heard a stall vanning when you turn left? Hehe

    • @edlm25
      @edlm25 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      May happen in a Turn with higher bankangle. :-)))
      But normally no problem with the correct speed. Stall-warnings are sometimes a little bit sensitive.
