That's why to fill the screen in 4:3 it's called "stretched". Whether or not it matters to the player is the real question. There are situations where you don't spot a player outside the fov but with good crosshair placement and awareness it shouldn't be a huge issue. New players should definitely stick with 16:9.

Pretty sure the two bomb sounds was added specifically to help with nuke and added many years ago. Pros still mess it up because despite all their practice they won’t do a simple 5 minute task (ie learn the sounds) to make them better.

At release of CS2, sounds were identical to CS:GO but then it got changed again to make the sounds even more different, which is what we have now.

WoW, Apex, CoD, LoL, these games and many more have had a ton of player complaints and youtube caught-red-handed videos exposing rampant cheating. The comment about "cheats that were once detected are now undetectable" is interesting, but even if these cheats were still detected I'd argue other functional cheat would have taken their place. Is there some causation of switching to CS2 creating more more cheaters? maybe. But I suspect this is mostly due to more cheats/cheaters across online gaming in general. Which really fkin sucks ofc, I'm hoping dev studios can find a solution. If it means Kernel-level anti-cheat then that's fine as long as it's effective. (Valorant, the anti-cheat MUST run on boot and if you terminate the process you can't play Valorant until you restart),. The risk is that if Kernel level access is compromised it could lead to malware/viruses that could be essentially impossible for antivirus software to detect, so it's hard to say this is definitely the correct option.

17:05 the biggest problem for CS2 is that the Danger Zone is missing. I've been playing CS since CS 1.6 but with CS:GO and CS2 there was a drastic drop in map diversity. You only get what? 8 maps? And only 4 of them are really being played. I get that many ppl like to pixel-line their smokes and whatnot but for me, it gets too repetitive and boring. So I was playing DZ exclusively and took 2y break from playing when I learned it's no longer present in CS2. Now I've finally installed it again but it's been a month or two and I'm already getting bored again. EDIT: o boy it feels good to see I'm not the only one missing DZ hard. So many different tactics, so much thrill and often so good conversations with randoms

pretty sure elo +/- is determined by losing streaks, getting more is also harder than losing elo, my win rate is about 50% (tiny bit higher), losing two games in a row creates a massive elo loss, losing just a few even to bad teammates cripples me elo wise. Carry or not elo loss is insane for a small losing streak, getting it back also takes more games than losing it.

The bomb tick originates from the early days of GO iirc. It was due to a shit sound system, because of which A and B on Nuke couldnt really be differentiated anymore.

pretty sure elo +/- is determined by losing streaks, getting more is also harder than losing elo, my win rate is about 50% (tiny bit higher), losing two games in a row creates a massive elo loss, losing just a few even to bad teammates cripples me elo wise. Carry or not elo loss is insane for a small losing streak, getting it back also takes more games than losing it.
Did u know that you can kinda anguish smoke for a bit with a molotov if you throw it over it and it expodes over the smoke before touching the smoke or the ground I am not hundred prosent sure how it works but It happened to me

The bomb tick originates from the early days of GO iirc. It was due to a shit sound system, because of which A and B on Nuke couldnt really be differentiated anymore.
