Seriously though, scenario design is the only flaw of this game. It would have been perfect, if they can do a better design of scenario A and B and make things come together.
However. The thing is that the game needed complementing campaigns so we could get a coherent overall point. THATS the point. Campaings made like conflicting alternate timelines cannot properly tell a story about different characters experiencing different things. That should be fucking obvious...
Imagine if the character you play has one boss that sticks with you, like if you pick Leon Mr. X will try to kill you, since he's programmed to kill any surviving police members , and if you're Claire, Birkin comes to kill you since he wants Sherry, his daughter. It would of helped both runs and would of made sense with the lore. Edit: There I put the comma after "Claire"
And that's the sort of thinking which is sorely missing from this remake. It would have at least alleviated the problems I had with the A and B scenarios issue that even this games diehard fans agree it has. Still, it wouldn't have improved my thoughts on how they handled Mr X as a gameplay mechanic, the awful alligator, the ridiculous sized lab, or the writing of Irons, Sherry and Claire. Even with my expectations set to low, I found the whole thing just lacking.
Read about MrX in original. I think one and only really bad thing in this remake is destroying Scenario A/B differences and putting MrX in every new "scenario".
Honestly I felt the same way about Sherry being so cheerful at the end until I thought about it. It's a defense mechanism. She's a child who just experienced so much trauma she's DEEP in denial. When reality hits she'll be a mess for weeks. I feel like it might be giving Capcom too much credit to say this was intentional but it certainly makes the most sense.
I would argue it being more to do with the obvious parental neglect she suffered at their hands. Chances are, she probably didn't see them from one end of the week to the next with only sporadic phonecalls culminating in Sherry being told that her father was just 'gone'. Compare this to Claire who demonstrates the willingness to walk through hell and high water just to save an unknown child and I can see why she was flippant about the outcome.
It’d be plausible if you remember that she actually cried when her mother died, which would actually be traumatic. She did love her mom, you can even see it.
@@IconiqueBloomie I'm not disputing her love for her mother. Just that the neglect can affect the attachment enough that she would cling to the one person who has gone to extreme lengths to protect her the way her mother never had. She loves her, but is used to Annette never being there to support or interact with her. Hence the gap between her being upset her mother died and gleefully suggesting that Leon and Claire can adopt her. But an entire childhood full of neglect has created emotional and psychological distance that made it easier to accept the death of her mother because to Sherry, nothing has really changed outside of gaining a better guardian who won't abandon or hurt her.
@@Blackemperess I kind of agree, but the whole "we can get a puppy" line and everything was a bit over the top cliche movie ending to make it believable. They could have made it a little more heartfelt than "'eyyy comical ending before credits roll."
Ok there are some things I agree with here. But one thing you docked points for was thr home of umbrella sign. Raccoon City was a small mountain town before umberlla moved in and industrialized the place. They donated money, built schools and hospitals ect. Not to mention Umbrella corp is one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. The town probably made the sign because it was something too be proud of. As for them messing up in the Arkely Mountains. Every stars member who made it out alive was silenced from speaking by police chief Brian irons. Chris was suspended by him. So the people didn't know about the mansion
I love the remake but they really botched the A and B scenarios. Makes no sense, its like Leon and Claire are in an parallel universe to each other or something
@@TheScotchaholic well then they shouldve just done a Leon story and a Claire story and fixed the fact we go to 80% of the same areas and fight all the same bosses in the same locations
okay but if thats true, then how did he make it into the room with irons and sherry without being spotted seeing that he'd NEED to walk directly in front of the cameras view lmao
she's packing heat because she is travelling alone, at night, in USA. She's probably;y has a conceal carry licence and her brother is a special police forces ex-military so it does make sense. More sense than a police car having a loose gun in the glove box
I mostly agree - even though she is carrying it in plain sight, which ain't exactly legal even in the US, as far as I know. It's a bit like her having a holster for a combat knife on her shoulder in the original: completely unrealistic, even though carrying a gun is a tad more credible than a blade. Yeah, the Browning in the glove box never made any sense either. I think that, in both versions, the only way to make it realistic would've been Leon handing her another gun he's carrying - the snub nose revolver in the remake would've been quite realistic as a policeman's backup gun.
I mean, at least a shotgun in a cop car makes sense, it's a stereotype that cops carry one in every patrol's car in the worst case scenario. But a pistol in the glove department? If anything, cops are asking to get robbed of their car for free guns...
@@JayHog1992 yeah, I thought about the shotgun too - don't know how realistic it is (I am not American), but it's a trope of many American movies...even though it's mostly the sheriff and his deputies in small towns that are always seen with a pump action stocked in their patrol car...anyhow, starting with a shotgun would be a bit too much for pretty much any RE game...personally, I think Claire should've started without a gun in both the original and the remake. In the '98 game she could've found one in Kendo's store in the A scenario (instead of the crossbow - which you can only grab if you kill all the zombies that break in) or in the precinct right at the beginning of the B scenario. In the remake, the RPD would've been the only option in any scenario (she actually finds a new gun at the beginning of B).
thermonuclear collider many states let you carry concealed or openly in plain sight. Some even without any license necessary, just the second amendment
Really the only thing I didn't like about this game is that they didn't go completely all out with the A and B scenarios and how many of the areas in both campaigns such as the station, the sewer, and the lab play out exactly the same. Other than that I completely loved this remake! Now we should brace ourselves for the inevitable Resident Evil 3 Remake!
Yeah it is sad they didn't but the reason why is understandable too. The remake wasn't originally going to have A and B scenarios. It was originally going to be "This is the canon story." style where there was a Leon and Claire game. One starting from entrance the other out back. When fans heard about they asked for B game style. But due to release date already announced and how late in development the game was after the E3 reveal (3 years after we do it, 7 months before release.) it was a rush job. IMO what they should have done was reiterate the "We're going for the canon story line with the games." and then announced the what if they went the other way as part of the free DLC that was with the other what if scenarios.
@@faelirra Could that also explain the story inconsistencies such as how Leon and Claire each fighting Birkin separately but as if those fights never happening with the other character? Or how Mr. X gets killed in Claire's campaign, but still chases Leon in his campaign?
@@faelirra i love to know where you got this information from, source... i followed the game profusely during its development and what you said now was never stated or clarified... also shoe horning Leon A and Leon B with only 5 months left of development seems really unlikely. they needed to record all body animations and facial animations and voice acting in the same time frame they caught all of the "CANON FODDER VERSION". 5 Months is not possible to do all that and still build it and program it. it takes about over a month under 2 months to print and make hard copies and ship them around the world for retailers.
@@jacobchildress7921 the game def does have its downfalls... example Sherry's and Ada's part of the game serve no real purpose ultimately considering claire and leon still had to come and rescue them for the wrist band so ultimately they got it themselves. Sherry's section to my opinion could of completely gone without, she only ended up being back to where she started serving no real purpose in the game other then showing Irons demise at the orphanage. Birkin Tyrant was a major plot hole.... cause Claire A as claire is far ahead of Leon B, how is Leon dealing with the Tyrant when Birkin killed it.. Claire A should of fought Birkin G1, G4 and G5 and Leon B should of fought G2, G3 and Tyrant, Tyrant wasnt killed at all by birkin in claire b. but the creators wanted the player to enjoy all boss fights regardless of which character your playing and cause they game encourages speed running to the highest level having all boss fights either scenarios was a must. hint forth why i hate speed running but the japanese love it.. hint forth they speed run making the game and overlooked the biggest plot holes.
Jim Pickens that’s funny, I hated that sin though because Umbrella facilities always have ultra sophisticated AI so it’s no surprise the computer could locate a bio organic threat on rampage
"Mr. X looks like Nick Valentine got juiced up on some of those delicious T-Virus steroids." He does! Thank you! I thought I was the only one that noticed that!!
@Steven Fonlame he didn't have orange hair even in the remake, Leon has never had orange hair. his original PS1 look some pictures of Leon made it look like he had orange hair, it's just the way it came out in pictures sometimes, but he always has blonde hair. it's like a dirty blonde, sometimes like in the case of RE4 at times in darker areas it'll look more brown but it's not. in the remake that's blonde hair straight up lol.
I usually don't criticize sins, but the "home of umbrella" is still there because the outbreak at the mansion is not public knowledge, and even if it was, bureocrats would still be fighting about what to do with the whole debacle
Lol I was hoping someone mentioned that or I was going to. It was established in the original re 2 that only stars knew about the events of re1 with the exception of Chris telling irons who buried the story and anyone stars told didn’t believe them.
Yep. I stopped the video when I heard that. It's total nonsense and shows that the narrator doesn't know the saga very well... Also, events of RE2 happened only 2 months after the mansion incident and weird stuff happened around Raccoon city in between. I guess they had other stuff to deal with than replacing road signs...
...... sorry but no yall, what the hell does it matter if marvin turns into a zombie or not if the entire population of the city is infected. 1 verses 1000. So he was being a smart ass to marvin saying to let him die so it doesnt spread.
Looks like you didn't notice the door when Claire gets to the Orphanage. It's got claw marks and the chains are broken on the ground from Birkin. Looks like you weren't paying attention to details. :p
Y’know, I first thought for sure that G entered the orphanage after Irons moved that bed and then he looked back. Then I went and tried to unlock the door with Sherry but it was locked. It’s a sin in itself, G is adept in off-screen stealth and teleportation. He should not have gotten in during that segment, plus there are no ways that he could have gotten in from the underground passage, unless he climbed. Then again, he can’t do that until Stage 4 apparently.
So, in theory, he isn’t wrong. How could Birkin have done that, unless he opened the door from the inside and clawed the chain off? It’s confusing, honestly. Plus he’s not elaborating on too much during the later segments of the video, either.
Another sin that should be removed is Leon being able to get the virus without the pendent. The cannon story no matter what scenario is that Claire is ahead of Leon. She already used the pendant to open the container and retrieve the anti virus that’s why when Leon retrieves the virus the anti virus is already gone and the container is already open. This is further confirmed close to the end of Claire’s campaign when the self destruct starts after Annette dies. The self destruct was initiated because Leon removes the virus while Claire is tending to sherry and Annette.
Technically even the sin for Leon magically having on his rpd uniform should also be removed because the cannon scenario for Leon is his 2nd run where he gets it from the locker. Claire’s cannon scenario is her first run. It’s confirmed just by the fact Claire is ahead of Leon throughout the whole story but also no matter who you play as in 2nd run Leon’s rpd uniform is always in the side storage building you can only access during the second run. So they had to have Leon magically get it in A just to progress the story. The character can’t enter that side building in A so theirs no way to get it. I guess it could be argued for him to get it in the first save room instead for practicality in the 1st run scenario but the devs just did that as a extra hint that first run is not Leon’s cannon story. Lol I’d also say remove the sin for the person in the 2nd scenario arriving after “to much time had passed” to the rpd cuz they do a time skip. We have no idea how long Leon was actually in the city in 2nd scenario because they skip the whole city section. Also it makes sense Leon would make it to the rpd much later than Claire because they are separated by the explosion which Leon can’t cross. He’s in cannon on the drivers side which put him on the opposite side of the street from the police station and can’t cross the street due to the fire plus if he’s dodging zombies and trying to pass barricades it would take him much longer to get to the rpd than Claire. So the timing would probably match up for him to arrive as the helicopter crashes.
Fun fact: The reason the "villains listen to classical music" cliché was created was because classical music is public domain so you dont need to pay for licensing
The chemical flamethrower thing is because the usual flame throwers work by spitting gasoline (or sometimes Napalm) that is lit with a flame in the end of the cannon. Chemical would be that it lights up independently
It says it uses a pressurized gas. if you were thinking it uses two different chemicals to ignite a fire, unfortunately, that's not what they meant. It's basically a propane based flamethrower.
As much as I love this game, I can't disagree with any of the sins mentioned. It really is a shame that Claire and Leon have such little interaction with eachother and the A and B scenarios are so similar.
That's because originally the devs revealed there wasn't going to be any B scenario's at all. But people got mad and the devs were forced to make it anyway. So they made the most out if it with their limited time and resources
I love it, but the only minor complaint I have is that the A and B Scenario didn't affect each other like in the original. It would totally help me a lot during my 2nd playthrough.
There is a way to shake off zombie grabs without using defense items or taking damage. It only happens if you're running and a zombie tries to grab you from the side by your left or right shoulders.
15:17 actually the chains on the orphanage's front door were pulled off by G (William Birkin) that's why the door was open when Claire entered the orphanage so the final number of sins is 107.
@@DanceswithBlades5 yeah for real. Not bashing the game but the 2nd run was bad. Wish they would of spent more time with it or scrap it altogether and give them truly unique scenarios
The overall soundtrack was weak/non-existent as well. Mr X theme and Final X boss fight were standouts - everything else was forgettable. Using the original RE2 soundtrack made me realize the genius in the moody/atmospheric compositions of the original game.
@@RuSHWiZaRd There wasn't even going to be B scenarios but fans asked for it so they made it, they rushed it, but they made it. Be glad they listened to the fans.

my biggest complaint as you probably would guess is its not fixed camera it just took away scare factor for me being over the shoulder i wanted to be scared instead im like "Yo i clearly see you poking out your head you aint fooling anybody!" ENCOUNTERS MR. X "Oh great finally this sh!t!?" (WHIPS OUT SHOTGUN) "SURPRISE MOTHER F#CKER!" (FIRES AWAY) X GOES DOWN "Well who gives a shit? That was easier than i expected" The bit where he shoves the helicopter out of the way was a letdown they shoulda just shown him falling through the roof like the original that was more intimidating but this is all my opinion.
My only real complaints about this awesome reimagining is that the story and the A and B scenarios are worse than the original. Otherwise, any other criticism are nitpicky. I don't like that they cut zombie Brad out. I don't like that they cut the cutscenes showing that helicopter crashing or tyrants being air dropped into Raccoon City. Also not a fan that they cut most of Leon and Claire's interactions throughout the game. I'm definitely hungry for more content and more RE reimaginings/remakes. Would love a Dino Crisis remake in the RE7 engine too.
If the remake Dino Crisis they really need to take the time to think everything through and do a solid reboot. Lets be honest, halfway through 2 the story line becomes irreversibly entangled. Dino Crisis was a victim of the 90's ideology that games were just toys and would never become taken seriously.
Thank you for sinning each scenario and pointing out the problems with one. Most other videos people just did whatever order they played in and went off of that. Details, they are important.
There is a bunch of things this reimagining doesn't do well compared to the original. For everything it keeps from the original, the reimagining makes baffling changes/cuts. I still think RE1 Remake is still the best remake, but this one is awesome too. And it does something I've been hoping for since RE5, reboot the Resident Evil franchise and return to awesome characters fighting Umbrella. Wouldn't mind a Dino Crisis remake too. Or a full single player RE game where you play as the bad guys.
@@Gruntvc "Or a full single player RE gamr where you play as the bad guys." Wasn't that the premise of that dumpster fire called "Umbrella Chronicles"?
@MarlonMacielBrando, you mean Umbrella Corp? That game was doomed from the start as it was a rushed online only game with no story. What story is there pretty much sets up the return of Albert Wesker. This why I'm glad RE2 Reimagining is a reboot of RE. No RE game story wise has made sense to me since RE5, the game meant to conclude the franchise btw. We've never got a story and single player focused RE game playing as Umbrella. Even RE3 was meant to be a spin off game starring Hunk.
@@Gruntvc You're right, I *was* thinking about Umbrella Corps. Umbrella Chronicles and the Darkside Chronicles are the rail shooters and they are alright. Don't understand why they're confined to the Wii, but they're not dumpster fire material. Edit: *Nope* , I was wrong. I was thinking about "Operation Racoon City".
"Why would Umbrella issue guest passes when they're doing illegal stuff?" Because they still need to sell their illegal products and their guests are those overly thorough buyers who want to tour the factory itself rather than just buying the illegal goods like normal people?
S.A.M. Personally I don’t think that’s why they issue guest pass. I think scientists there were working on virus that can enhance human abilities, which kinda make it not illegal? In the end, it’s scientific facility, not umbrella’s meet and greet and “showcase illegal item” department
@@lesad6755 Also, if someone from a different umbrella facility comes for whatever reason, they sort of need a pass, but not full access to a different site? Also, maintenance, construction, other shit?????

I think they should have altered the Leon B and Claire A campaigns. Like with Leon B you go through the story of finding and rescuing Sherry instead of Claire, and Claire A you encounter Ada and fight Birkin. That would have been a good twist honestly.
I don’t know if it’s canon or not, but in the Umbrelka Chronicles Ada gets the grappling hook shot only when she’s about to leave Raccoon City. So how she survives the drop down the Umbrella lab chasm ... the world may never know 😊
You're missing the point, she may look good but she doesn't look like Claire. See if you play any other Resident Evil game, literally any one with Claire Redfield in it, you will see that this chick is not Claire.
@@sethlong9118 she actually looks like a pretty natural extension of her look from every game except Revelations 2 and Darkside Chronicles, where she looked like a fresh water fish.
8:16 and now we begin to list the biggest issue with this game, the scenarios and how they are laid out. They are nearly identical gameplay wise, apart from key elements for each character's story and final boss. Which results in the story not making sense if you count both A and B scenarios (and that is excluding the annoying story changes).
@@rifleshooterchannel208 It was truth, you always make the same puzzles, the bosses are diferent but in same areas, with the exepcion of the new areas in the lab
Ancls That’s not true *at all* did you even play the original game? The bosses are completely different in the A and B scenarios, the areas to access the lab are also completely different. Go play the original game again and totally finish the A and B scenarios and tell me if you still believe what you are saying. Or even just watch a walkthrough of them on TH-cam.
Honestly, RE2 remake was my favorite RE of all time. Felt like a perfect balance of the elements I’ve come to know and love. I think it’s the best way to enter the series now if you’re a newbie to the series.
One you missed: If you use the classic outfits for Claire and Leon, Claire still asks Leon if he's a cop when they are driving away from the gas station. Pretty sure his uniform would have given that away...
As much as I love her, Allison Court sounds way too cheesy if you actually listen. I love it, but her new VA sounds way more realistic. Hhhhh okay now I want to play CODE: Veronica X.
@@IconiqueBloomie In a way, that's kind of what I liked about the original VAs. They were like these bizarrely wholesome heroes in a nightmarish hellscape. It was unusual as far as horror goes. Well, western horror. They were cheesy, but also kind of paragons. Having them be "normal potty-mouthed people" almost ruins the weird charm.
With the script given. Allison would of been fine as Claire in this. She is a pretty talented voice actress. But I still like the woman in the remake though. Both her and Leon I enjoy. If I could of had a choice to have Allison Court vs the OST. I woulda taken the voice actress
@@joshshin6819 I don't know...neither voice actor displayed emotion suitable to their situation, seemed way too casual most of the time. Clearly not experienced, but not Anime-RPG dub terrible. Allison would have been much better, as well as Leon's (who is definitely the worst of the two).
I love the fact that Leon/Claire close the gate of the RPD making it super hard for any possible survivors to get into the police station, which is the ''safe place'' everybody advertises xD I know there were lots of zombies outside but poor humans who can get there and hit their faces in a locked gate, taking away all the hope they had.
One sin I would like to mention is that right after Kendo takes out his daughter in a scene that was supposed to be emotional Leon exclaims this to Ada "That explains all the horrible things I've seen" lol the tone that he says this in is almost too cheerful that he may as well have said it looking at the camera with a big dumb grin like this 😀 it just completely saps all the emotion of the kendo scene from earlier
Imagine, you just spent the whole night fighting for your life to escape a undead infested city, and NOW you have to walk how many miles in the desert sun to get to the nearest city....... By the time they got where they were going they probably just crashed for 2 days straight!
Imagine you spend all that time walking to the next city and when they finally get there it turns out the virus reached it and now they’re right back in the shit all over again lol
I really do wish the part B played off the part A more and we got some different bosses and could see some the results of the part A run through but oh well
Geoff H just saw this video. I agree. People shunned me for saying this. I get treated like I’m some idiot troll. When in reality I wanted them to do what they did to RE 1 to RE2 with some maybe added story thing like RE2 own Lisa Trevor. Not exactly that but similar. I loved the set camera angles.
Yes...I love how Leon & Claire each saw a different form of Birkin in the original. How scenario A saw stages 2 & 4 while scenario B saw 1, 3, & 5. I was disappointed that they removed it. Also how A fight the G mutant while B had Birkin. Although I'm seeing more flaws than before...it's still a great game. I also wish they showed how the B game character got to the police station instead of just starting there. It's clear that character A got there before character B. Also...I guess I may be the only one this nitpicky, but do any of you wish that both A & B characters could've met Marvin alive...watch a little more of his decline before finally turning.
@@AvaaSlays_Swiftie that's bc fanboys don't like you attacking their precious hearts. This game is unoriginal as fuck, with sparkly new graphics. Fun but unnecessary. Give me a new IP or a new game that is actually not shit.
A lot of sin reductions just goes to show how good this remake is. Also, I would love a THREEmake. Nemesis is one of the most terrifying enemies I’ve ever encountered in a video game
I think it's only a matter of when at this point. I can't wait to hear "STARS" growling & the hauling ass foot steps of Nemmy. It may be a year or two, but I think worth the wait.
I'm just sitting here wondering why the hell Ada waited till after you went through all that shit to find the parking garage pass to start using her hacking device. The thing that really kills it for me though is how much of a dumbass they made leon out to be. He could have had the pass early on in the game by getting it from ben but he was still under the impression normal protocol was to be applied during a fucking apocalypse. "I'll have to talk to the chief first." This was a true cringe moment.
Absolutly. The way campaigns are functioning does not work at all for a story about two characters both experiencing important events. And I still have no CLUE how people can even be happy with what we got...
There isn't really a "right way" to play these though, the stories still parallel each other without actual consistency. Mr X for example is the main boss for Leon even until the end, but in Claire B's story X gets killed by Birkin.
I remember playing the 2nd run as Claire...and telling myself...didn’t Leon unlocked this door already? But overall if they make an Re3 remake or a RE8, they should really consider the things that happen in the 1st run (Edit:) yes I did find out that RE3 doesn’t have a 2nd Run but since it’s a Remake, Carlos could have a bigger role, Big enough to make a 2nd run (rookie mistake)
Kaijucifer uhm, no. Wesker didn’t save Ada when she fell. He gave her a grapple gun to help her escape Raccoon City, but after her “death”. But this happened in Darkside Chronicles, which is not canon. Hell, in that game (that or Umbrella Chronicles, I can’t remember) Ada even meets Claire, when they actually never met canonically
With the orphanage main door, if you stop and look when you’re using Claire, you can see the chain broken on the ground and claw marks across the door where it was locked. I believe that’s how Birkin’s got in. I’m not too sure about how he got behind Irons without him realizing though.
I loved the RE2make gameplay but the story is so bare bones compared to the original it just doesn't make sense and it doesn't work!! Most of the context is just gone... The halfway mark cutscene where Annett explains the G-virus is gone, the ending cutscene from the original scenario B was way better and their isn't even a cutscene that shows Tyrant 1-03 deploying. How awesome would it be if the Red Queen from the Umbrella Chronicles actually became canon. A new gaming standard in survival horror i agree... But Capcom still refuses to get decent writers!!
Decent writers? The game has already been written! For somebody who hasn't played the original RE2, not knowing where Tyrant came from adds an air of suspense and mystery!
Capcom has a track record of making good games but with a very sh!tty script. Now in the 90's you could forgive that sort of thing 'cause the industry was getting on it's feet and things were lost in translation 'it was only natural... The Resident Evil series in particular has always suffered from this confusion of whether or not it's story should take itself more seriously particularly with RE 4,5 and 7. Then theirs IP's like Dragons Dogma, it has a serious and dark fantasy tone to it but it also has questionable moments where it either doesn't make sense or doesn't fit in with the rest of the games theme. I like the new seriousness the RE2make has, it definitely adds to the immersion and i hope the RE3make does the same thing but the RE2make's script feels half-assed and incomplete and i don't want that to carry over to the next game especially when you explain key plot points in bloody text files as opposed to the original.
Half assed is right, Leon and Claire barely say more than 10 words to eachother behind that gate and nothing of value is really said it's like bad improv out of a Judd Apatow movie
@Mae_In_Heaven88 Exactly! The whole point of the walkie-talkies in the original was despite the fact you were running around on your own, you felt like you're still working together with someone AND had an actual plan to get outta the city. But in the RE2make theirs nothing, no character development between the two protagonists apart from that opening scene and then they miraculously somehow just GET each other by the end of the game... i mean wtf? It's pathetic!! Their are glaring issues with this game but the damage has been done... By comparison the original REmake is still superior.
@@s-clone8964 100% agree. The character development was miles better in the original. Here they are completely forgettable. REmake is still the superior remake 👍
Still a phenomenal ass game-even though it didn’t do as good of a job story wise and truly separate scenarios like the original. And yes, it’s still not the same without Alyson Court. But Claire’s looks, voice and personality is much better than in Revelations 2, where I could have closed my eyes and would have swore it was Helena Harper. And her noir and Elza Walker costumes were badass!
No it's not acting is terrible including Sherry at the end of the game too talking about getting a puppy tf your parents just died and they ruined so many characters and scenes that were better in the original this new capcom is shitty and garbage

I'd say pervert, in his notes he makes comments on being incredibly aroused at gutting a tiger, and revels in the thought of using a human corpse as a taxidermy subject. IIRC, he even says he wants to do stuff to the corpse after he taxidermies it, so I'd say he's a huge pervert
I do miss Leon's B ending... You know, for as cheesy as can be, "its up to us to take down Umbrella" and that Rock song is WAY more exciting than Sunshine cliché with random música.
I have one criticism over your videos and when it comes to remakes you say "why did they change this character? He was perfect!" Like with irons but with the actual tone of the characters, irons wouldnt be some dramatic thespian in this situation. Comic readers knew from trailers before the game was released and they half ass their introduction of Jason Todd to the series so bad that even anyone who didn't read the comics could put two and two together and figure out he was AK. Then they copy UtRH's plot but the shit literally doesn't make any sense with the Joker already dead. By this game's logic Jason's letting Scarecrow destroy all of Gotham for petty revenge at Bruce. Oh then the fact theres 2 whole comics series you have to read to understand why and how he becomes the Arkham Knight because they literally acknowledge the fact he doesn't die in the games verse when this is literally a core part of his character and motivation post-Robin. Also, the Batmobile fights were actually the worst thing in all the whole series. It was almost like they thought making the batmobile essentially a tank was funner than it actually was by making it appear like what 5 times??? I defnitely have to agree with you about Riddler. Seriously though, scenario design is the only flaw of this game. It would have been perfect, if they can do a better design of scenario A and B and make things come together.
Yeah otherwise its very weird that Birkin tore up that ceiling for the first scenario, fixed it up, then tore it up again for the second scenario
There arent A/B scenarios anymore. 2nd run is just little modification of 1st run.
Also the game is just to short
@@imienazvvisko it's still considered A and B
IS ANYONE NOT SEEING THAT THE FBI COMMENTED ON THIS VIDEO?! Holy shiiii
TheSteelStallion Nah, Mr. X as a mechanic added so much to the game.
It would be great without him, but not as great and not the same

@@Blackemperess Very good points as well. That kind of neglect for that many years would cause serious disassociation with emotion toward them.
The S.T.A.R.S team's claims about what happened in the mansion were dismissed by irons and therefore the public due to papers released not long after

she's packing heat because she is travelling alone, at night, in USA.
Hand gun in the glove box does make sense. Both scenarios make sense

Looks like you didn't notice the door when Claire gets to the Orphanage. It's got claw marks and the chains are broken on the ground from Birkin. Looks like you weren't paying attention to details. :p
@Apathetic Apparition He didn't sin that tho, he sinned the fact the door was open when Claire got there.
@Apathetic Apparition nah that was valid. He sinned the fact that the door was open when Claire gets there. It's around the 60 range of sins
@@IconiqueBloomie I agree. It was dumb in the original too.
Sherry didn't lose the pendant. If you watch closely you can see her deliberately dropping it, which was smart on her part and shouldn't be a gamesin.
The sin is Irons not seeing Sherry drop her pendant.
Irons is a dumb fuck; main sin. 😩
@Merc Kitsuné for real and he says details are important and miss that little fact
Uncle Napalm No one gives a shit anf the people that would already fucking know
Your name is Uncle Napalm and I feel convinced about your flamethrower knowledge, lol.

Officer Elliot was able to shake off a zombie, meanwhile I have to use grenades.
There is a way to shake off zombie grabs without using defense items or taking damage.
It only happens if you're running and a zombie tries to grab you from the side by your left or right shoulders.
Actually, if watch closely, Elliot kinda turn to side so that the zombie grab is from the side, and he was able to shake it off
Though he does still sacrifice something, his flashlight is lost in the struggle so you can technically say he used his Flashlight as a defense item.
To be fair, Elliot didn't get rubberbanded back into the zombie's hands once he was sure he was clear of it.

That would have been a good twist honestly.

I don’t know if it’s canon or not, but in the Umbrelka Chronicles Ada gets the grappling hook shot only when she’s about to leave Raccoon City. So how she survives the drop down the Umbrella lab chasm ... the world may never know 😊
I think She is not human
Claire actually looked good....
She did. This guy is just knit-picking to an obnoxious fucking level.

@@Kev_StarsI agree. She actually looks and feels more like a teenager/young adult
The original was almost identical gameplay wise, with exeption of the new section in the lab. The story was diferent though, not lile here
Ancls Not true.
@@anclss2384 But it wasn't. The gameplay in the remake is completely different.
I love Claire but I really missed Allison Court voicing her in this but I'm not saying the voice actress in the remake is bad.
@@IconiqueBloomie Voice acting in general was cheesy back then. That was the standard of the day. Still better than a Jill sandwich.

Ada first received her grappling hook as a gift from wesker after she falls in darkside chronicles...but even then, its still confusing

NO scenario is compatible with another one. Each can only act as a stand alone which indeed is a very big problem for the plot.

But overall if they make an Re3 remake or a RE8, they should really consider the things that happen in the 1st run
(Edit:) yes I did find out that RE3 doesn’t have a 2nd Run but since it’s a Remake, Carlos could have a bigger role, Big enough to make a 2nd run (rookie mistake)
Sin 101: Wesker is actually the one who saved Ada when she fell. Confirmed in Canon.
Hello there
WOW
Kaijucifer uhm, no. Wesker didn’t save Ada when she fell. He gave her a grapple gun to help her escape Raccoon City, but after her “death”. But this happened in Darkside Chronicles, which is not canon. Hell, in that game (that or Umbrella Chronicles, I can’t remember) Ada even meets Claire, when they actually never met canonically
ADA wears her sunglasses at night is reference to a CORY HART song...I Wear My Sunglasses at Night

10:30 imo the fact that he is much more of a threat as he can follow you everywhere makes up for it.
@Mae_In_Heaven88 Exactly!
And her noir and Elza Walker costumes were badass!
i love her costumes. they did claire good in this game. I haven't played the original but maybe one I should try it

chief irons loses his subtle creepiness?
what? both in cutscenes and in his notes the guy comes off as a major pervert

I have one criticism over your videos and when it comes to remakes you say "why did they change this character? He was perfect!" Like with irons but with the actual tone of the characters, irons wouldnt be some dramatic thespian in this situation. @@stelena1406 Not really. The story is lame, the boss fights are pathetic and Nigma's time tracks are the worst fucking thing ever. I bet GCN would find a whole lot more than that.
@@Ziomaletto Honestly, its not even that the story sucks its the fact its quite literally the same shit as Under the Hood plot but with garbage execution. The main factor is that literally everyone knew who the Arkham Knight was before the reveal.
Like at least in the previous games he was mildly entertaining but this one he was jsut out right annoying.
