Road Trip to a Moroccan Desert Oasis! | Ksar Ait Ben Haddou & Skoura Valley

We are leaving the incredible red city of Marrakech, and road tripping to the desert!
Our first stop after winding through the Atlas Mountains is the iconic Ksar Ait Ben Haddou. You feel like you are walking into an ancient world, and the fascinating clay architecture is something to marvel at.
We continue the road trip to our home for the night - Le Jardins De Skoura. It’s a luxury boutique hotel in the middle of a palm tree oasis in the Skoura Valley. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and spoilt us with many beautiful treats for our honeymoon. The peace, quiet & serenity of the oasis was so calming as we watched a bright pink sunset over the Atlas Mountains in the distance.
The next morning, we jump in the car for our final leg before reaching our destination - a Luxury Desert Camp in the Sahara Desert (Merzouga). We finish our afternoon exploring the dunes with a bit of sand boarding.
