The old town is where you needed to see to change your mind about Faro, it is like a walled town within a town with beautiful old cobble streets buildings and churches,

Fair point Mark , i wasn't impressed with it overall but that's me judging it as a tourist visiting a few hours only.

This is where we were based for going to Seville with Rangers. Marina was awesome. The wee bar with the green parasols was lovely, watching planes come in and nice breeze.
3points sports bar about 5-10 mins walk away off the front road main round about was great too. Fantastic street for bars and food

think I was in that street at night just off street that has pipers bar which is a great bar also. Not much else in Faro but ok for a night.

Did you make it out to Praia De Faro on the water taxi? Best spot in Faro.

I'm guessing "walk with kevin" is your Coastal town city walk starting in Portugal and doing the whole length of the Portuguese and Spanish coastlines. Great exercise and fun.
