Thanks for doing this one!! Imagine being in that room live when he was doing that! Crazy, I can't imagine! As far as a pure vocal skills and style, he is definitely my favorite male vocalist of all time. I've never heard anyone other than Morissette Amon that makes me feel like I could just sit and listen to them sing anything.
I was actually there that night, I remember one of my friend she invited me to come because she knows how much I love the taco singing night and I said YESS and I went and I got to me Avery myself and he was such a great person. He wasn't a kind person, he was a chill, cool-out great person. And he was so real and instantly we became friends and we kept laughing the whole night. Had a few drinks. I also met Amber Riley. But Avery went up to sing and he blew the roof off. I had chills and the room was echoeing.
Also yesss avery can belt VERYY high this isn't even close to his peak of mixing up in the 5th octave haha
he can also go pretty high with head voice and he can whistle and obvs he does sick runs in the whistle too which is sickening

Exactly. That environment he was singing in tend to be an audience that is impressed with showing off. He would not sing on a record like that or on a prestigious stage such as the Grammys or even at his own concert if he was an established international artist.
He can sing, but he does tend to over sing stuff. Every song just doesn't require that.
