Next, bring your intended device and put the airpod that doesn’t work inside the case and pair it with your device, the airpod should connect to your device now. Finally now bring both airpods to the case again and pair them together on your intended device and then they should work in synergy again. This worked for me.
I genuinely can't believe that worked....my left airpod wouldn't connect on any device. It didn't tell me it was out of battery it simply just showed no battery symbol. I disconnected and reconnected. I cleaned pod and port with a pick. I checked all the charge and audio things. But blowing in the case port actually made it come back lol I really never would've thought of that especially after already cleaning it
Funny thing is for me I googled how to fix it and I’ve been doing this exact thing for the past 3 days, wasn’t working, then I went to watch a video on it, did the EXACT thing I’ve been doing one more time while watching the video and it finally worked, I have no idea how

Are you a straight white male by chance? A little known program by certain insiders at Apple, collects data, and once it figures out you are a straight white male, can forcefully make your devices obsolete (slow, glitch, cease work entirely)

Mine worked by cleaning the charging points inside the airpod case with a q-tip , just by blowing it didn't solve it
