All that ivy on the brick buildings is "Boston Ivy". Its what covers the walls of so many old New England college campuses. Unlike English ivy, Boston ivy is deciduous and before falling off in the Fall, the leaves turn BRILLIANT shades of crimson, red and orange. It is very beautiful.
Gosh, I've never been to boston but this area in particular is so pretty.
One of the prettiest spots in Boston!

You need to focus the camera up more. often, too much of the shot is comprised mostly of the pavement.

it's a really nice area. Do you know how expensive to live over there is?
Not sure the going rate these days, but I had two friends split a nice two bedroom apartment on second floor in Beacon Hill. The lease was around $5K back in 2017ish timeframe.
