When I started my journey as an Adventist I also questioned the need for Ellen White as a prophetess of the church. I believe many of us had the same thought but as I started to read her writings slowly but surely God brought peace and today I'm blessed like the other millions of us who have fallen in love with her contribution to our church. Most of all I thank God for calling such a humble person with such an enormous task in her young life. Finally no man called me into this church but the Lord so with all the false information floating everywhere it doesn't deter me from my faith and walk with my Lord.Our God is great
