I like how you say powermods has items and then you also mention the company that makes them. Not all businesses do that sorta thing. Lots would have a person think you can only get certain items from them.
@@PowerModzOfficial ok, I bought the scratchers from nextech, it all doesn’t quite make sense to me but maybe once I start bolting it up it’ll work itself out haha
Well everything breaks but these have 6 months of testing in nasty conditions and by some riders who push the boundaries more than you and I ever will...no breakage. I'll let ya know if they do break
@@PowerModzOfficial On skidoo ones they have two coils going forward and backwards so they don't break as easy when using reverse. Aswell the skidoo ones flatten out at end so they spray more snow.
@@sixdaiz these are reversible as you can see in the video - the skidoo scratchers are installed at the back of the tunnel.....I think that placing scratcher near the front of the skid would be more effective right?
Liquid cooled snowmobiles have " heat exchangers" above the track and when snow hits the exchangers it helps keep the engine from overheating. Sometimes going on hard packed snow the heat exchangers don't get enough snow. Usually you just ride into some deeper snow for a bit and it will kick up more snow but sometimes that deeper snow isn't available.
At this time I'm not into trail riding for long distances I see the allure but I'm more into backcountry. there will be a day I'll be riding trails more though. I think it's from years of riding 130 kms each way on the worst trail imaginable to my remote cabin....hella hard on the body. thanks for watching!
Ain't nothing wrong with disliking trail riding. I used to trail ride and there are too many idiots out there who can't stay on their side of the trail. Every ride you can count on a close call with some ya-hoo on my side of the trail thinking he's trying out for the next Sno-X race. No thanks! More fun in the pow!

Well we like working with people and small shops trying to make a living, gotta spread the good word. thanks for watching!
So far so good? 1.5 years later...are they still great? Any downsides?
I ordered a set for my, new to me, 2017 RMK Assault 155. Awesome videos you make, thanks!
These would be handy... if I could get my Summit 800r jetted correctly. Thing is a never ending battle.
Cool video, Louis!
Good vid,What goes on the inside of the rail to hold the scratcher on?

The skidoo rail scratchers work better and they don't break in reverse, You can mount them on any sled just about.
ok so you've tried these then what didn't you like about them?

@@PowerModzOfficial the rail scratchers go in front.. the tunnel scratcher go in back
They have two sets they offer, most just run rail ones but if your really riding long ways you can get tunnel ones aswell.
Can someone kinda explain the whole thing?
install scratchers and keep sled temps down and lube sliders.
he did..pay attention
Love the vids keep it up
Yeah it looks like they only work at high speeds
So how do these keep your sled cooler?
matt taylor kicks snow up into the track to keep the hyfax and shit cool

Do you guys make sets of scratchers for older models?
yes we have other scratchers
You dont use evans coolant anymore?
yes I do!
@@PowerModzOfficial i Wonder if its a good idea to put it in my new arctic cat m 8000
I want these!
Great video
Your track looks thin Louis, as compared to older sleds.
ya its a single ply and not as thin as some single plys
Don't leave em out when your playing in powder or you risk the chance of getting stabbed by the them.
Thats great advice!
Where’s the sno pro
I don’t like trail riding? Cmon Louie, busting up a good chunk of your audience.

If you get butthurt over that then fuck off.
ya thats not gonna hold. have fun looking for your expensive titanium scratchers on the trail....
Lets see what happens! I think they'll be just fine
