Segagaga is peak Sega - part parody, part existential crisis, part love letter. This game captures the spirit of the creative peak of pre Sammy, Okawa Sega beautifully with its whimsical defiance in the face of financial ruin. Sega could really help out this project by giving the devs access to the source rather than having to hack the iso.
Man, SEGA in this universe sounds like a real hell hole to work at. Employees are literally trapped inside the studio for years, and have to create entire games in exchange for food and basic necessities to live? This company's higher ups are psychopaths! 😨

This game has always felt like a bittersweet, fan service filled, swan song and it's such a shame that it was never released in the west. (Even just thinking about all this makes me so nostalgic... how I miss Sega's days in the hardware business... (Ｔ▽Ｔ)
The1Ross announced a while ago they have permanently stopped this project. Though the rest of the game can still be translated like Ross has done, there was a big issue that prevented modders from creating a true English version of the game: The in-game english alphabet. The english alphabet exists in Segagaga, but the issue is that the letters/characters are double the width that japanese characters are, making it difficult to fit all of the necessary english text on the screen.
It makes me sad to see that not too may people care about this EPIC achievement. I already posted a comment on the official webpage, I would love to help!

Tbh I'd love to help localize and correct the grammar of it to make sense in English. I wish i could help with this incredible project.
