I must say, Blaze is looking wonderful and he seemed to really enjoy the cross country setting. All he needs is a bit more seasoning to build his confidence up on the various types of jumps he might face and you'll make a fine little competitor out of him! You Rhodes' are quite skilled at managing large farm animals and you've turned Blaze into an impressive looking pony in the short time you've had him. Great work!
That was a nice little cross-country course. Blaze did really well. Falling off is part of riding, unfortunately - at least it's not a long fall from Blaze, although into a jump it can be bad. Tack shops for horse crazy folks is like a candy store to a little kid - spent a lot of time there with my daughter when we had horses. However, who need that many saddle pads??? We had one English and one Western and that was it. When you get a bigger horse, you're going to have to buy more, so keep that in mind as you are splurging on Blaze. Most important, keep having fun, Lily. You are doing great.

I am glad you didn't get injured when Blaze pulled up and slid you over his neck! This video was fun to watch, i wonderedwith the pond so convenient if you and Blaze would go for a cool off dip. Your new boots are so cool!
Beautiful dismount Lily, its not easy falling but you did great. I rode a friends horse that put me on the ground once I was standing still no saddle and she shifted putting her leg out front I slid down her shoulder and landed in front of her...I know she did it on purpose because she stood there laughing at me 😂😂😂😂😂 But seriously she shook and because I was wearing shorts and not paying attention I took a fall. But that horse was known to do things like that, she was crafty 😂😂😂😂.

This was so fun! I’m super allergic to horses, and so it felt like I was riding blaze! (Without all the sneezy nose and watering eyes!) Even the fall was scary but fun! You did so good!
