I listened to this song on the radio while cooking for me and my flatmates. There's a program called No Horn Please that airs on Image FM between 10 and 11 AM almost everyday. This song aired on the FM on 4 January, 2020. It was a chilly, overcast morning, the grey environment reflected the political uncertainty that always seemed to grip Nepal, and I was pissed at one of my flatmates who was annoyed with me for no apparent reason. This song came on and instantly lifted my mood. A happy coincidence, if you will, but it reminded me of all the happy moments we'd spent together. It also highlighted the nature of impermanence, that this state of agitation would pass in a few moments, and only by facing our feelings (or struggles) head on, we shall triumph. The feelings of animosity have already subsided. Only the words remain.
