At the beginning, before you can start upgrading the car, you can play with the rear gear. Adjust it, and run practice laps until you get it perfect. Setting it so that you're reaching redline at the end of the straightaway does wonders!

Not many people know this, but the Dodge Vipers that Ryan Newman and future NASCAR legend SomeTing "Chunk" Wong drove in a 2004 exhibition street race in NYC, were actually purchased from Dick Piston Dodge of China.
However, 2 years earlier in 2002, the 9/11 attacks had ravaged the car market, causing Piston to skim $800 from a children's hospital donation jar in the lobby of his ailing dealership amd purchase his first strictly stock race car to begin a legendary career to help save his business.

You can only move up to a higher series if you win a championship. When you do the AI cars in the lower series max out their cars.

I don't know if you noticed this Cosey but there are money multipliers depending on where on the car you put the sponsors, it shows it in the bottom left box and above the location on the car that the sponsor placement is.
I'm so excited for this playthrough, this was my NASCAR Thunder 2004 this is what I played all of the time, it's gonna be a lot of fun, you're gonna love the Featherlite series.

The only trick I remember from playing this game, is that weaving on your warm-up lap gets the tires up to temperature (green on the gauge) faster and will give you more grip in the corners on your hotlap.
Obviously tho that might not be necessary for a couple races lol

This is still my favorite nascar game, Thunder 2004 was better but i loved being able to drive all the different classes.

My god. I never knew this game existed and it looks like this could be an absolute banger of a series.
Hell of a 1st episode for sure:
First time on dirt was a little rough,
Follow that up by making the A Main race with a photo finish win, hats off heading to the checkerd flag on that one and to top it off, already getting some sponsors.
I hope this is one series that goes all the way and I'm hyped to see what's next for the next series that could take over where Heat 5 leaves off

Monster Games made this and Test Drive Eve of Destruction. Eve of Destruction is also a great game with a fun career mode I recommend anyone reading this to check out. It's not nascar but it is some great demo derby action
