  • This is a long long time coming and I hope it helps you all out! I've made many lucio wallriding guides but never one that covers literally everything. Theres one hidden tech I didnt mention that youll probably never use but if the video does well I'll make something about it. Please enjoy my lucio wallriding guide with best lucio settings!

I STRONGLY disagree with you saying it’s not important to change console jump. It is really important to change it off of default because you can’t aim and jump at the same time. It is very helpful and would highly recommend!

jamie allegro has a bunch of really good videos but they're old af and was basically lost to time
it was like years and years ahead of any TH-cam guide when it released though
and honestly speaking, besides a few outdated tips (now you can chain on the same wall, and ride backwards) it's still a damn good channel for wall riding 😊

I can now do 1 ticks and late skims thanks to the knowledge you imparted. Wall jump on release has been annihilated.
Also, I play on console, and for anyone else who does, I HIGHLY recommend cranking your sensitivity WAY up. As the video explains, the direction you face while hopping off a wall massively changes how you move. Ergo, high sensitivity allows you to face where you want to move and control exactly how you move. My sensitivity is 90 percent horizontal and 75 percent vertical, I have 2.5k games played and a 59 percent winrate.

Along with the input pebbles gave on the console side, I would add that I personally have found the toggle speed boost to be helpful, it works relatively the same for when you want to rapidly switch between heals and speed but when you are just trying to heal I find it much easier to remember that you have a speed button and when it’s not pressed you heal instead of having to check or remember what you’re on every time.

I played around with that setting for a bit when it was released because I thought it might be less taxing to do walljumps on console, but trying to climb a corner turned out to be quite difficult for me. Just made my crouch finger hurt instead.

    BRO, THANK YOUUU JESUS CHRIST.
I was always like "Dude why do i miss my jumps even though i'm using scroll wheel?" Cause me being a total idiot didn't know i needed to scroll slowly!
    THANK YOU SO MUCH

Another term for Late skim is Coyote Time.
Such as wily coyote when he runs off the ledge and floats for a second. Many games have this mechanic to make jumps feel smoother
Amazing guide thanks so much for this, I can't wait to learn to play Lucio now.

I cannot believe the source of my agony was a setting for backwards wallriding. Thank you for ending my suffering

Very interesting video, I don't even play Overwatch anymore but definitely very interesting mechanics of my boy Lucio.
