- Hey guys this video is on how to connect iball claro ctv27 tv tuner card & get it up & running.In this video I am going to go through each & every step,so that it is easy for everyone who is having any problem while connecting this iball claro ctv27 tuner card.I tried to keep it as simple as possible.Also I showed how to switch from tv to pc & vice-versa.You can also see how to get in the PIP or picture in picture mode in this video.I really hope that this video is helpful.

1.If you are connecting this TV tuner to a set top box then you have to use the set top box's remote to change channels

Sovan ur instruction is very much helpful to me. but i have face one problem. i.e. PIP is a very good option for use pc & tv.at same time. but tv screen always goes to centre top on the monitor. have u any solution to move tv screen centre to bottom or top or corner on PC monitor. thanks bhai
As far as I know there is no way you can move the TV window,but pressing PIP button two times will change the size of TV window as shown in this video.

Hi,Souvik Acharya to connect it with cable connection,you have to plug the cable connection in the antenna in port or you can say radio frequency port.This way you can connect your cable connection without any set top box.

Hi,that happens because of the resolution,try changing resolution on your monitor & also change the resolution on your TV tuner card,then see if it gets into the pip mode.

You cannot connect HDMI cable to this TV tuner card because it doesn't have have HDMI in or out.

Yes,you can connect it with your set top box which has got audio & video out ports (RCA) & assuming you monitor has got a VGA in port,if so then this TV tuner card can be used without connecting your PC.

Hi,live TV recording cannot be done using this TV tuner card,I hope this answers your query.
When connected to set-up-box, the source must be Video not TV and we can see all the channels. When TV antenna is connected, source needs to be set to TV and we are expected to do Tuning. This product is great; hope it will long last. Planning to have new FHD monitor instead of buying expensive TV.
You are absolutely correct.This TV tuner card is working fine for the past 2 years & I am really happy about that,I hope your ones too works well.Getting a big FHD monitor is a really good idea because you will be able to use that as your monitor as well as a TV :-)

Yes,you can connect them but for that you need to have long rca cables or long VGA cable then you can connect them to your set top box & then the other side of the cable to your TV tuner card,then from your TV tuner card to your monitor through the VGA cable.

Hello, now there is another problem with the sound.There is huge sound coming from the speakers only while watching tv.This tv tuner card has an inbuilt speakers.Mine is a creative speakers. what could be the problem. I have an audio out jack in the back of the monitor.should i try connecting the speaker to the audio jack on the back of my monitor.

If you follow the steps shown in this video then you will be able to watch TV with audio & in this video I said external speaker by which I mean any speaker or music system other than the one in the TV tuner card so computer speaker is also considered as an external speaker & yes even if you switch off your computer audio coming out of the TV will play through the computer speaker but you obviously need to keep your computer speaker switched on.Hope this helps.

I mean I've a connection from my TV to set top box using a rf male-female cord so I can switch from analog to digital set top box signal using my TV av button when digital signals are broken or weak. Can I do the same with my monitor?
I am not sure if it can be done using this TV tuner card & your monitor,as I haven't tried doing anything like this,but you can try.

Yes. It can be done I can watch TV (analog) + Video (Digital) cable +FM using this great product.
But I didn't understand how it captured the FM signal? Because I used that port to connect RF cord to set top box to watch analog TV. Anyway it's good that I can watch all of them together Haha.

I got this TV tuner a week ago and i connected TV tuner card to monitor and setup box as per your video but i am not seeing the TV on monitor. I navigated about 249 channel , no channel is showing setup box input, also i did the auto scan from channel menu of the TV tuner. is there any particular channel of this tuner card that shows setup box input ? Arunkumar Santharam Hi,thanks for asking,I have seen a video on TH-cam itself recently where I saw this tv tuner(ctv27) was connected with local cable connection & it was working with no problems.I don't remember which video it was but this tv tuner card was working with local cable connection which will be connected on the FM antenna port.
i have connected all the cables as explained by you but blue screen appearing nothing else is there any option to select AV mode on tv tuner card

Hi,I can tell you to try out few things & see if that fixes the issue.First remove the internal TV tuner card & remove any dust on the TV tuner card or the PC(IF their is any dust) then again install it in your PC & make sure it is seated correctly,if the issue is still their then try another software to record & also try changing the settings in the software,maybe any of this solves the issue that you are facing.
