    This is one of the first things I tried from the cookbook, and I think it's delicious! I just pre-mix all the dry ingredients into a mason jar for easy prep!

    Congratulations Noah to you and Iliza both and baby number two!
    Also I can't wait to make some Don't Panic Pantry comfort foods this winter! As someone who most of the time can't be bothered to cook but actually enjoys the act of putting on a podcast (a lot of the time AIA) and getting down to it when I'm in the mood too, this cookbook has been a blessed addition to my kitchen!

    I have a health sludge smoothie that I should make everyday but don't, but I take a shortcut and use cold-pressed green juice from the supermarket as the base, add my Vitamineral Green powder, turmeric, ground flax, and sometimes green tea if I've got some in the refrigerator. Good for whatever fruit you want to throw in there, and any vegetables/leafy greens, too. Doesn't taste wonderful, but it takes care of me for the day nutrient-wise. Sure as hell better than swigging Ensure because I can't be bothered with preparing 3 well-rounded meals a day.

    Hi Noah, though I agree that most people meet the recommended daily allowance of protein quite easily, masochists like myself do need to pursue it decently aggressively in order to build muscle. Some studies have revealed as low as .7 grams per pound body weight per day to be optimal for muscular synthesis, but that is still significantly over the RDA. Additionally, it can play a key role in satiety when trying to reduce caloric intake for weight loss purposes. That being said, personally I am neither a fan nor user of protein powders, and I certainly agree that the general populace does not get near enough fiber in their diet. Just my perspective, thank you for all your work and recipes.

      Thank you! Yeah that totally makes sense. If you’re bodybuilding it’s a different game. I’m mostly talking about a general phrasing of “I need some protein added to this meal” as a blanket idea that gets thrown around a lot. People who are really measuring it for a specific goal are obviously paying attention to what they need.

    I swear by my healthy chilli. Almost complete nutrient profile, tastes good and really fills you up.
    Is it weird to have chilli for breakfast? No.
