We live at 838.2 on the AT, happy to provide trail magic, laundry, sleep, and/or slack packing when you get to us. Swag is an old fashioned name for a dip between two peaks, like a gap, but not as deep. IF you see Bad Bat again, please give her my best, followed her the whole way last year. Plant

Leo is adorable. I love dogs, I have had 3 dogs. A basset hound named Howdy, a cockapoo named Wilemena aka Willy, and a dog I got from a family named Rif Raf. I love Fresh Ground he really supports the AT hikers.

It is cool to see snow when you are from FL I was wondering how far have you and Leo ever hiked? Do you ever worry that he might drink or eat tainted food or water?
We have done 76 miles on the Foothills Trail. He drinks from the Mountain rivers and creeks. He only eats what I give him.

Swag of the Blue Ridge it is "an exceptionally wide Gap between Tray Mt. and Dismal Mt. It is perhaps the wildest and most inaccessible gap on the AT in Georgia". In regard to the mountain climb, my son wears a tattoo that says âLaugh Now. Cry Laterâ with one Face of laughter and one of tears on his ribs. That philosophy works for him.
