- If you are a student in Algebra II and did not score at least an 80% mark on this quiz on exponents, then you should really either be positive you can understand the laws and move on quickly, or reconsider whether you should be in an Algebra II class.
Thank you to the individual who brought to my attention errors in the answer key -- #8, #9, and #10, the correct answers are: #8 is 1/(2x^2 y^2).......#9 is a^51/10.......#10 is x^42/5. Sorry! I was using the wrong answer key for a different quiz. Time for me to get new glasses!
Don't you mean for #8 2/x^2y^2? You are multiplying 2^-2 by ^(-1/2) which gives you a positive exponent, so the 2 should be in the numerator.
@@jefff4898 Yes, correct.
Maths honours graduate from the University of Cape Town here: I think it's wrong/misleading to claim in Q6 that (-8)^(2/3) = 4, you have to take the cube root over the complexes first, i.e. (-1)^(1/3) = exp(i * pi / 3). So in fact (-8)^(2/3) = 4exp(i * (2 pi)/3).
got 12/12. not suprised since I am an 11th grader. it was fun though but got over in less than 2 minutes.
Got 50% but it's 30 years since i did any of these. :)
i got the first one wrong 💀
How do you expect me to solve the problems in this quiz? I cannot see the questions. I'm sure that they are very easy. I think you should make it accessible to everyone, like me:)
really appreciate what you do thank you
I would love to see some real analysis content!
11/12 but you were wrong on #11, it is not 1. It is 1/x^12
