Google maps is not up to date. Its years off. My home has been here since 2019 and still google maps and earth show what was here in 2016. That is 7 years at least be hind. I have the same with another property. We bought a rest area next our property in 2000 and still it is shown as a reast area. I have tried getting google to correct this. They ignore it.

It's still 1000X better then driving out to properties and measuring. Yes you might mis measure by +/- 5% sometimes but doesn't matter atleast in our market where there isn't too much variance in lawns sizes
