I love tutorial videos! Maybe they don't do as well because they're "old school" and a lot of viewers are now more into the consumerist aspect of makeup (hauls, pr unboxing, best & worst). But personally I love them. They're more chill and give me inspiration :)
qq ww ee rr . Whenever I get a new palette I stare at it and stare at it, then I look up tutorials on the palette to get some ideas and inspiration . I will continue to look for tutorials as along as I wear eyeshadow.
Don’t be afraid to use her satin/shimmer shades as transition shades, they are formulated to perform just as well as the mattes. I find natural hair works best. Beautiful looks!
I LOVE tutorial videos and am saddened by the fact that a lot of the TH-camrs, that I follow, have stopped doing them. Thank you for taking the time to do all three looks as each one was unique and beautiful in its own way!
Your eyes look amazing and I love all the looks you did. I really appreciate this video because I am in love with this palette and want it so bad but it's so expensive and now I feel more comfortable about everyday looks that can come from it. ❤️❤️❤️
Hey Sam! I wanted to say YES and THANK YOU I"m one of the people that really enjoys and benefits from ANY tutorials you share. It really helps me to watch a "girl in Iowa" play with expensive makeup and teach me how to do better with my own skills. I'm not an artist either!! But watching you ups my game and I thank you! Also! You look amazing in all 3 looks. #samsquad
Don’t understand why tutorials don’t do well! I actually love and appreciate them. Loved all 3 looks Samantha but my personal fav is the 3rd, just Gorgeous!! Really appreciate your honesty and thorough review on this pallet!! 💖💖
I was at work all day and got my notification of this video and was dying to this right then and there. This was such a special moment to me because I know you never dreamed of the day you’d own a PM palette!!!! These looks were just spectacular!!! Just seeing these shimmers on your eyes, so close up were just breathtaking!!! I get the hype for reals!!! That’s the beauty of her shadows , they make anyone us look like a makeup artist wether just an everyday girl from Iowa or Ohio in my case!!!😍
I love this, I love when you show looks, but even more, I love that you're not a haul style TH-camr and you don't come out with a new review of a high end palette that "I absolutely love!!" every week. :) (like, how unrelatable is that?) I think you're more genuine when you struggled with whether or not to buy this palette and then got it and started playing with it! I trust your opinion more because of that ❤❤❤
Beautiful looks! Really makes your eyes pop! I can't afford a $125 palette, but I have the Colourpop Making Mauves palette so hopefully I can also get some pretty mauve looks to make my green eyes pop too. There are 6 mattes and 3 shimmers in the Colourpop mauve palette, so that might be a nice option if anyone wants more mattes and a lower price.
I love all these looks. If I had to choose, the 3rd is probably also my fave! And thank you for not glorifying this Pat McGrath palette. I feel like there are SO many creators buying more luxury items now, during a pretty tough time for everyone, that it's important to hear that at the end of the day, it's just a good palette. I don't know if my no buy is making me here those mesages more, whereas before all I was hearing is buy, buy, buy ... but I think it's also the fact that there are people on YT, such as yourself, not over-hyping things. I just struggled so much with not buying that recent ND Bronze Palette, that I had to make an entire video on why I don't need it, as basically a pep talk to myself, so hearing you talk about this Pat palette rationally and responsibly is music to my ears :).
I rarely comment on YT but I just wanted to thank you for the time you spent on this 3 look video. I really hope this video performs better than you expect in terms of audience engagement. I love your personality and your style and hope you don't feel pressure to change... by the way, I bought your entire Ofra collab and loved all of it. The blush and bronzer were just perfect for my NC42 complexion!!
This was my “splurge” palette too and I love it! That first look was so cool, never thought to layer the glitter topper over the pink and will definitely try it tomorrow! Love your channel 💁🏼♀️
I want this palette so bad, but I’m okay with my current more affordable collection. I’m a single parent of 2 little girls and I rely on my sporadic writing income to support us. I’ll live vicariously through you for now. Lol!
The four glitters at the end are Pat McGrath’s “special” shades and are the REASON most people buy them. I love all her palettes!!!!! Love the looks the first one is one I am going to for sure try!!!!
All 3 looks really made your green eyes really really pop so beautiful!😍 So glad I came across your videos because I can relate to you so much!! Lol I too have a hard time figuring out what eye look to do like what colors would look good together I wish I had more of that creative eye for colors😬😂
And I appreciate that you do looks that you gravitate to, because for me, that's a different set of looks and it gives me a lot of inspiration and a different way of thinking about the palette. I do LOVE that Valoria shade with the sparkle white down the center for a low key halo. But I am LIVING for these color combinations! All three looks are perfection!!
Hey gorgeous. Please do regular multiple looks with 1 palette. I have them on my channel, but it's so nice to see what others come up with, especially with different eye color and difference ages. Xoxo
The Divine Rose I palette is my first & only mothership. I appreciate the tutorials to get more ideas. It’s a most awesome palette! Thanks & blessings! 🌻
I love tutorial videos. I love how you do "simple" looks for us that don't know how to do fancy or complicated makeup looks. Can't choose a favorite one.
This palette so flattering on you. One little suggestion about how you place your first matte crease shade - if you change your hand movement from this horizontal back and forth to a more diagonal upwards towards the outer corner of your eye, it would give you a more flattering shape. Emily Noel does it really well for reference. Her’s is a very defined shape but you could do a more diffused lifted shape.
100% completely agree with you. We are who we are. I love your consistency. It wouldn't feel authentic if you weren't comfortable with your looks. Plus I love that you know and use the looks you love!
All three looks were so sultry and gorgeous and omggggg I am LIVINGGGGGG for your brows in the first look! 😍😍😍 the deeper shade made the look so dramatic and beautiful!! You did an amazing job, Sam!!! 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖 girls night is going to be litttttttt when bestie Pat sees these looks!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
It's your opinion, and that is the most important thing! I love this palette so much, it's my nr. 1 and after that Viseart Paris Edit. Opinions are just opinions, love that you are so honest about products, and you made a wonderful look again!!!👍🤩🖐😘😘
I think watching other people do looks with this palette (like kinky sweat) will help you. She tends to use the other shades as crease colors as well as the mattes
Samantha the top middle shade (the bronze) works amazing in the crease as a “matte”, it doesn’t look shimmery once it’s blended & it gives a totally different look than the purple/mauve one in the crease. Once I discovered that worked (& I’m 46 so wouldn’t usually try anything shimmery as my transition) I use this palette much more!! Love this video, I don’t know how I missed it!! 😍😍😍
Love this palette! I will say, you mentioned not having many mattes, and I actually love using the satins on the left side (not the special shades) in my crease! I love the look I get with them!
Loved all the looks you created but the first one is my fave😍 I can see where having another matte would be nice. I think we all gravitate to several looks and color varieties when doing our makeup on the daily. Enjoy your palette! I for one totally love the multiple looks in one palette videos!!!
This is not Pat McGrath related but I just received my OFRA and Samantha March Bronzer, Blush and Highlighter yesterday and OH. MY. GOD. They are amazing!! And I have mostly high end makeup so they have some stiff competition but they seriously make my skin look glowing and flawless
You made we want to play with my palette today!! 😍😍 With Pat's shimmers/satins, they perform like mattes as well, so it gives you that space to use them in the crease. I use rose dusk all the time in my crease. Im so happy u enjoyed this palette 🥰🥰🥰
I can’t tell you how grateful I am that you did these looks! I bought the pallet and sooo wish there were more matte shades. I shouldn’t have bought this pallet it is not for mature eyes in my opinion. But anywho you actually showed me how I can use the pallet and I’m excited to try these looks with my green eyes! Your looks were absolutely gorgeous but also wearable Thank you Samantha 💕
I just ordered this pallet only because Pat had a 20% off sale. I am also "impatient" with my shadow application so your looks are perfect for me to replicate. Thank you for this video. I will be saving this for when the pallet arrives!
I really love these three looks one palette videos, they really help to decide what I’m going to do when I do my eyes. Please do more of them, I just love tutorials! 😊 x
Yes! I love more looks with one palette! Yes please keep doing these videos! These are extremely helpful for me. I always need help combining colors. Thank you for doing these! I looooove the first look you did!!!!😍
All of the looks you created are GORGEOUS!! To me, the first look made your green eyes pop the most. The third look, I think, is my favorite, if I had to choose. They are all really, really pretty though. Samantha, you do you. That's why people watch you. ;) I think you are really honest in your reviews and I love all of the looks that you create. So, yeah, just keep doing what you're doing. :)
Who cares if you do similar looks that’s what attracts so many of us to you , if the person wants more variety there are many others to watch in conjunction to you . I myself would love to be really creative but I’m not I get really overwhelmed and will put the palette in a draw and forget about it, if I don’t come to You Tube for tutorials and inspiration I will go for the simple looks that I can recreate and I think I can dupe these looks with all my Indie Brands . I appreciate you and everything you do you bring light to my darkness living in chronic pain from chronic illness so THANK YOU for being exactly who you are and btw I need the next book 📖.
I love tutorial videos. I also love videos that show how to get more than one look from a palette. All of the looks were pretty, but the first one was my favorite.
I love multi-look videos! And I think people who say you always do similar looks are wrong! Every video I watch, I love looking at your eye makeup because you always do such different looks. Plus, like you said, there's nothing wrong with doing the same look. Love your honest reviews!!
This video was awesome!!! Love seeing multiple look videos. It really helps me when deciding to purchase a palette to see whether or not a palette is versatile. I want to know if I will get my money's worth. I also don't mind that it is an older palette. If people are still making videos about something way after it's been released I feel that says something about the product itself and no, we can't all run out and buy it immediately. Some of us stay on the fence for a long time, especially with such a price tag. I think I will definitely wait to get this on sale though because it's gorgeous.
That's exactly why I started doing the multiple looks videos myself. It's important to know if a palette is only good for one look or worth the investment for multiple looks. Glad to know some people still look for those.
Your review of this palette is the one I needed to see! I think I can stop coveting this palette now! That has been the problem for me with all PMG palettes. There are too many shades/finishes in each one that would never be a favorite, and not get used.
I LOVED your looks with this palette. Your lighting made it so clear to see and the looks were achievable. I would LOVE to see you look at more Pat McGrath and Natasha Denona as I can see how you bring the best of these palettes into a realistic spotlight.
I love tutorial videos and especially Pat and Natasha tutorial videos. I actively search and binge them and when I got the notification for this yesterday, I was like yep, first video I'm watching with my coffee on Monday. I actually have grown to appreciate the lack of mattes in Pat's palettes (lol, I have 2, not 8), but I OFTEN pain them with a Natasha palette. like today is DRI and Sunrise (I decided when I couldn't sleep last night). I actually LIKE this because it means I am using 2 high end palettes. But the metallic shimmer works well as a matte base for me so the bronze or the rose or the skin show I use like a matte. But the biggest reason I prefer fewer mattes is that it challenges my creativity and I really like the still work appropriate looks I get out of both Rose palettes without mattes. I just play and unlike with a lot of palettes, it always seems to work for me.
Yes! Do more of these please!!! And the second to the last on the bottom is the one shade I wanted from this palette, LOL! I honestly would love a just duo chrome palette from Pat McGrath. But the looks you came up with were amazing. So pretty!
I agree. I think "worth it" is super subjective. For me, its a lot to do with whether I will use it up. Panning over half of the tati beauty palette this year already gave me some confidence about it. It's very Hannah Louise Poston fewer nicer things (not that she advocates buying even her favorite Natasha palettes, but just the idea). I buy VERY few palettes, even small ones and quads. So that's my vibe. And its very different for say complexion products or lipsticks. Sam - try using the rose and gold/peach duochrome with Cor De Rosa. I think part of how I've almost hit pan on 2 shades on the ritualistic rose quad (my first ever Pat purchase along with a lipstick), is that I LOVE the combo of Sigma and Natasha and Sigma and Pat. I don't know why, but it works and I appreciate it because even though I have very few palettes, I like to use all of them every month. I wore the gold/peach duochrome yesterday with the Persona peach blush and coral lipgloss and it was one of my favorite looks ever. (is three comments enough to show I love tutorials?). Spot on review and I agree!
I have watched so many vidoes on this mothership palette, and you are the one who have created some of the most beautiful looks. I always always love your eyelooks. I wish I could do my make like you. You are very talented.
I wasn’t sure how much I loved this palette when I got it too. I started mixing it with other palettes now and I can’t stop using it. In fact, I now own 4 of her palettes. Trying mixing it and I guarantee you’ll fall in love!
Hi Samantha!!! It's really great to hear someone here in you tube saying truly what are her true thoughts. Thoughts that everyday people have .So bravo for that Samantha that makes you really special 😘🥰
Thank you for the honest opinion about the value and quality. I appreciate it as a consumer who does think about my spending, as much as I do, ahem, spend. The price tag matters, and I loved the third look even though I am more likely to do the first two with similar colors.
I love this type of tutorial videos and you were fast and then gave us your review. So it's a well rounded video. Perfect for me. It gives ideas on the looks we can create and it's relaxing to watch. I hope you do more of these videos Sam 😁
This was my first Pat McGrath full size palette. I love it but I always stick to the same look. Thank you for posting this! I’m going to try a few new looks!!!
I appreciate these style videos for inspiration on what to do with a mix of new and older makeup. I recently watched a tutorial on Shonagh Scott were she use an older MJ pallet to get the popular bronze looks that are going up. I ended up purchasing the pallet.
So happy u finally got a mama pat palette. Welcome to the club . I luv the multiple look reviews. If it makes sense 4 u pls do more. Thanks Sam, I’ve had this palette for months and u made me immediately pull it back out again and play with it. 😍😍😍
And you thought you were late to the game with this palette, lol. You filmed this quite a while ago, and I finally just decided to order this palette. You have already decluttered this because of an eye reaction. I love looks 1 and 3! It might be fun to try to recreate these looks using different palettes you have instead of this one. See if you can get a similar look. Looks 1 & 3 remind me of ND retro, and sigma new mod. I’ll have to give these looks a try when my palette gets delivered!
I love 3 looks 1 palette videos! I just got this palette on Mercari for 90 brand new. So excited to get it. I already have Divine Rose 2 that I got for Christmas.
Ok I know I know you ALWAYS say green eyes, but I swear I see blue. Like every time! I have a soft pink overlay on my screen to help with brightness and glare, I think it trips me up. No excuses lol, Its all I can think of, haha unless my eyes are going.
I loved this video! I personally will not be buying any of Pat McGrath palettes because the price tag is just not justifiable to me and my collection but you totally rocked these looks and they all looked so different! I’m so grateful to hear your thoughts on the palette! Thank you for a great video!
Girl!! All 3 looks are gorgeous and make your eyes just glow but especially the first look!!! I wish you would’ve used the VR shade somehow though but thank you for this!! I love tutorials!! I don’t know why they are not popular 😫😫😫
I would like to see you do more 3 looks 1 palette type videos. I know you may do simple looks but lately I've been looking at my palettes thinking about what pulls me in, what looks I want to do with my palettes and not focusing on how many possible looks I might be able to squeeze out of a palette. I think it's relatable for most people.
Use your fingers to apply everything except the mattes. Way better pay off than using a brush! The glitter topper alone is worth it using on top of any other shadow to kick it up a notch 😍
I love all three looks! I'm totally down for simple, beautiful looks too. That's why I Love your tutorials! Because you give me inspo for looks that I'd actually wear and recreate, but they look like they would be a lot more work. Believe it or not, you do got some skills Samantha! Thanks for the video! 🔥❤😊
I picked this palette up a few weeks before you as a reward to myself for a new job I got. I have been loving it and will for sure be crying all 3 looks! Love the last one the most but all 3 are beautiful 😍
Samantha, thank you for doing this 3 looks-1 palette video. I, for one, think that tutorials are really helpful. It's too bad that they don't do well for your channel. If someone is looking for other easy to follow tutorials, may I recommend these 2 YT channels: Alicia (@ KinkySweat) and Mel (@Mel Thompson). I love their channels. I'm here because I was looking for additional inspiration. I'd like to get some more good use out of my own palette. I picked up this palette a few months ago. Spoiler alert: I love it. 💖 This was a "treat yourself" gift from my wonderful husband. Otherwise, I may not have purchased it because it's super pricey. I'm very happy to have this gorgeous mauve palette in my collection.
I got both the 1&2 and never had her big eyeshadow pallets before. So far the colors call to me much more than many of her other ones. I haven't played with them yet, but I will be soon. It was great to see you do this video for some extra inspiration. Thank you💕😊💯🤗
DA HECK is up with my intro music? lol So weird!
Thought you wanted to make a little change haha
🤣🤣i Don't even understand how that happened!
Lol I thought you were switchin' it up!!
It’s like the music inhaled some helium! Hahaha
Even the Intro music got too excited about the fancy fancy eyeshadow hehehe
I love tutorial videos! Maybe they don't do as well because they're "old school" and a lot of viewers are now more into the consumerist aspect of makeup (hauls, pr unboxing, best & worst). But personally I love them. They're more chill and give me inspiration :)
❤❤❤
Look 3 ❤
I could not agree more
qq ww ee rr . Whenever I get a new palette I stare at it and stare at it, then I look up tutorials on the palette to get some ideas and inspiration . I will continue to look for tutorials as along as I wear eyeshadow.
@@melaniegorniak3803 ...me too! I enjoy tutorials a lot. Like Samantha, I don't have that visual creative bent. I need tutorials!
Yes to more looks videos!! Even with “older” palettes xx love this one xx
❤❤
Samantha, I love your honesty. I’m with you on sticking with what is comfortable. The 3 looks were so quick and gorgeous. Effortless!
thank you!
I love 3L1P vids. Everytime I have a palette that I'm stuck at creating a look with. I look to YT to get inspired.
oh good!
I love them too!
Same!
I, for one, appreciate that you stick to your style. I watch each of the FEW influencers I do for their personal style and integrity.
thank you ❤
Don’t be afraid to use her satin/shimmer shades as transition shades, they are formulated to perform just as well as the mattes. I find natural hair works best. Beautiful looks!

All the looks are great, but the third one is hypnotic with your eye color. Beautiful!

I love simple but beautiful eye shadow tutorials! It's so hard to keep up with tutorials that use a ton of shades.

Eden Baynes awww thank you Eden!!! I hope it helped ❤️❤️❤️. Stay strong 💪🏼

I like when you do three looks with one palette. It helps see the potential before investing in the palette.
I loved all three looks on you!!! They all had a different vibe!!! 💖🌷💖

❤❤❤

The peachy duo chrome (bottom second from right) works really well as a highlighter. It’s stunning used this way!
Yes! I love more looks with one palette! Yes please keep doing these videos! These are extremely helpful for me. I always need help combining colors. Thank you for doing these! I looooove the first look you did!!!!😍
I love the tutorial reviews. Thank you for doing it. XOXOXOX
thank you for coming over!
OKAY THAT SECOND LOOK IS STUNNING
All of the looks you created are GORGEOUS!! To me, the first look made your green eyes pop the most. The third look, I think, is my favorite, if I had to choose. They are all really, really pretty though.

Love your honest reviews!!
thanks emily!
Glad to know some people still look for those.
thank you for your feedback!
Yes! Thanks for giving the people the multi-look video they wanted. ❤️
❤❤🙌
The second look with the duochrome was so cool. It is easy but so fun! I couldn’t tell what you had used until you told us.
I just play and unlike with a lot of palettes, it always seems to work for me.
thank you girl, that means a lot! love to read your comments ❤
All three looks are gorgeous but No 1 and No 3 are definitely my favourites. Definitely would like to see more tutorial type videos from you.
I love to see how to use the pallets. For those of us that aren’t always good at putting colors together these videos are sooooo helpful.
Pat uses the shimmers to create the base and to shape the look, give it a try 😉 it works wonders! Your 3 looks are very pretty BTW
That glitter shade in your first look is my favorite shade out of all of the Pat McGrath palettes I own! It is stunning!
Yes! Do more of these please!!! And the second to the last on the bottom is the one shade I wanted from this palette, LOL! I honestly would love a just duo chrome palette from Pat McGrath. But the looks you came up with were amazing. So pretty!
thanks Courtney!
Look 3 is my favorite but I love that glittery topper shade the most
All 3 looks were great. That matte mauve is maybe my favorite color ever. Thanks fir doing this.
These cud’s help me to be inspired to try new looks with what I’ve got in my collection.
I wasn’t sure how much I loved this palette when I got it too. I started mixing it with other palettes now and I can’t stop using it. In fact, I now own 4 of her palettes. Trying mixing it and I guarantee you’ll fall in love!
oh awesome!
Hi Samantha!!! It's really great to hear someone here in you tube saying truly what are her true thoughts. Thoughts that everyday people have .So bravo for that Samantha that makes you really special 😘🥰
thank you for saying that ❤
Thank you for the honest opinion about the value and quality.
I love makeup tutorials! Especially eyeshadow. It would be awesome if that's something you started. I'd be here to watch. 😊
thanks for watching this!!
@@SamanthaMarchxo You're welcome!😊💞
Loved all of them but 1st and 3rd are my favorite! Thank you for doing this!!
yay thanks!
Look number 1 would be a great Christmas look! (Or Valentine’s Day too I guess). And look 3 is stunning too!!!
haha thank you 😘
I love tutorial videos. I miss your GRWM Fridays! 💕
Halo eye with the copper/gold and the burgundy shade would look GORGEOUS. Just trying to give you ideas for the middle shades.
❤❤❤
omg I loved all three of these so much! Makes me want the Divine Rose I (but I already have the Divine Rose II) also!
😘😘
I just love the first look, your blue eyes were popping! Better yes easy breezy.
Ok I know I know you ALWAYS say green eyes, but I swear I see blue. Like every time! I have a soft pink overlay on my screen to help with brightness and glare, I think it trips me up. No excuses lol, Its all I can think of, haha unless my eyes are going.
lol aw funny!
❤❤❤
I would like to see you do more 3 looks 1 palette type videos. I know you may do simple looks but lately I've been looking at my palettes thinking about what pulls me in, what looks I want to do with my palettes and not focusing on how many possible looks I might be able to squeeze out of a palette. I think it's relatable for most people.
thank you for letting me know!
@@SamanthaMarchxo you're welcome!
I would love to see you rank your luxury palettes. That duochrome look is my favorite!
ooh!
Use your fingers to apply everything except the mattes. Way better pay off than using a brush! The glitter topper alone is worth it using on top of any other shadow to kick it up a notch 😍
Love seeing your take with different looks using the same palette
Loved them all, but I think the second look was my favorite.
Love the last one the most but all 3 are beautiful 😍
amazing!
Samantha, thank you for doing this 3 looks-1 palette video. I, for one, think that tutorials are really helpful. It's too bad that they don't do well for your channel. If someone is looking for other easy to follow tutorials, may I recommend these 2 YT channels:
Alicia (@ KinkySweat) and Mel (@Mel Thompson). I love their channels.
I'm here because I was looking for additional inspiration. I'd like to get some more good use out of my own palette.
I picked up this palette a few months ago.
Spoiler alert: I love it. 💖
This was a "treat yourself" gift from my wonderful husband.
Thank you💕😊💯🤗
thanks for your thoughts!
