- Hatsumi Morinaga (守 永 初 美) is a former singer from Japan. Her first single "Aozora no Knife" as part of the video game Bust A Move is what made her world famous by fans of this dance game. Data on this singer is really scarce, mainly because she only released three singles in the course of her musical career.
From a young age she had the desire to be a singer. She was able to demonstrate her skills in a television program of which I do not know the name in which she stood out among the other contestants.

She was my introduction to jpop and is still one of my favorite singers to this day, hands down. Aozora No Knife was my favorite song in 2001 when I found her at age 13 and it still is today, in 2022, when I'm 34. Thank you for uploading her singles, the world needs to hear more of her music and voice. 💜
Just think in 90s good times. I follow her since that time and I look for more information about her since 2000. I decided to learn Japanese and discover what's is about this singer.

I think she didn't became successful due to a tragedy that happened the same day of her release.
