Of course! I just bought an 81 DeLorean from them... Those guys there are AWESOME and if you're ever in town, you should definitely visit... but make an appointment for a tour, they don't let everyone in currently.
Orlando? How have these not made it to Miami? 81 cars had a fuel door, late 82-83 you have to open the hood to fuel. Later cars also had the door strap moved further back on the door because originally it was on the handle and would tear the leather. Notice the spare tires in the background? The car brings a spare donut. Fun fact, if you get a flat, the full-size spare does not fit under the hood. It has to ride shotgun with you, or your passenger is going to have to do a bear hug! It's not too difficult to find low mileage Deloreans. The company was so short lived, many ppl either stored them for the long haul thinking they would be worth big money in the future. Others just threw them in the backyard or similar and forgot about them.
They are starting to get more expensive because they are aging. A well maintained car now needs to have a lot of parts replaced because 35 years is all those parts were ever going to give. If that investment has been made, you'll pay for it when you buy one. If it hasn't, set aside a bunch of money to update your new car.
A friend of mine, another owner, has solved the gas station problem. His solution: Buy gas at Costco. People are in a hurry there because the lines are long, so they don't stop to ask questions. Note to Orlando DeLorean-- Costco is one block away!
The first car he said is a "81" delorean is not true its a 82 because of the delorean logo on the hood and the strap is on the lower door not on the handle like the 81 does.
You are wrong! Stupid plastic logo you can put anytime anywhere. But only the 81 Delorean has the hood with a cut on the driver side to access the fuel cap. That is a 81 Delorean!
These cars so look cool but nothing is going to alter the fact the engine is so underpowerd and the engine sounds awful when you rev it up . They defenatly are not sports cars i think people buy these cars cause of back to the future movies if it wasnt for the movie i dont think people would touch them . If i bought one the engine would be the first thing i would change
This car was iconic and its place in history cemented before the movie. In fact the movie makes the car seem silly if anything and detracts from the historical significance. John achieved more than most in his life before the car bearing his namesake. Yes the engine was under powered by todays standards but it literally debuted during the gas crisis. If you are not old enough to remember waiting in long lines to possibly get gas IF the station owner knew you then I need say nothing further. The car gets good gas mileage. This car is so unique. Love it!
Is this dealership still open?

When I went there they allowed me to sit in a replica time machine cramped but it was dream
Same. I never realized how small the interior was before I sat in one.

Your DMC-12 looks and sounds amazing!
I'm sure it smells good too !
dany mcdonagh top floor of rathmoyne flats gives a good view man. Can see it from the car park of the flats too
Getting fast food in one is actually super easy. It's only when you get bladder buster sized cups that you have to really open the door.
haha
Delorean is my favorite car ever!! Love them to death, but pricey cars!!
